I used to rollerblade and simulraineously juggle under the night stars, to her wondrous songs and smile and her soul. Her band and fellow creators were excellent......i am overcome lately as u relisten, re-cry, reDance. I have 8 brothers and sisters who probably never heard of Carlene Carter and her mid nineties music. Would they thjnk i'm overdoing it, like trying to indoctrinate them to enjoy and feel what i feel? I bet I'd be saying to my kinfolk, as we listen and move "dont you hear her words, her passion, her country soul, her rocking roll? The deep and sensitive and spiritual expression; the meaning in many songs?....like this moment, When My Heart Is Right. Love you Carlene. If there's an Angel like you in Heaven, i promise to be good enough to some day, meet your talented embrace. saying

Just stunning by Carlene! Even more remarkable as a live performance. She could sing the phone book and still sound fantastic! Respect to the band too.

I used to listen this song in the nineties, as the love of my life left me... We shared a short time, but these moments were the best of my live. Still 30 years after, this song brings back all these bittersweet memories and also tears and pain. Can't stop loving her 'til today. Regina... love of my life...

Carlene is such an incredible talent. Notice the little flick of her left hand at time stamp 3:55. She is signalling the band to come back in, without breaking the mood she has so skillfully created.
