I haven't seen anything like Alcaraz. Only Roger blew me away as a very young genius before Carlos exploded onto the scene. Carlos is in his own league for now. His mind blowing victory over one of the all-time greats in a tournament Novak has owned. Now the torch has been passed and tennis is better for it. Carlos broke down every Novak attempt to distract the younger inexperienced Carlos, but to no avail. Carlos displayed a brand of mental toughness usually found in veterans. A player for these times to savor. Carlos even broke down the Djokovic backhand by varying the spins and height of his shots to that side. How he managed all this in his very first Wimbledon finals is stunning.

Currently, win, lose or draw Carlos is the only player out there who ain't scared of Novak.

Alcatraz was determined to win and his confidence is his biggest weapon.his mental and physical strength for a 20 year old is simply amazing. Alcatraz hit some mind blowing shots and deserved to win.👋👌🏻🏆

Carlos Alcaraz vs Novak Djokovic 2023 is very similar to Graf vs Navratilova in 1987. Graf was 17 going on 18 Navratilova was 30 year old veteran. They played in the last 3 majors and although Navratilova won the last 2 in straight sets. Graf era had began, her record for 1987 was 75/2.. Carlos Alcaraz era began after that Wimbledon final imho

The old guard of tennis analysts are twisting themselves in knots to avoid talking about the fantastic talent Alcaraz is and how he overcame early challenges to eventually break Djokovic down.

I've been watching this sport since 2006 , this Alcaraz grass season is the best and craziest thing I have witnessed emotionally in tennis from him struggling his first round in queens and almost getting upset by rinderknech into him connecting to the grass slowly but surely you'd start to see improved returns , better slice backhand and better transition resulting in him steam rolling great competition in tiafoe,korda and deminaur to bag the title but this was only the warm up for wimbledon when things got serious vs jarry in 3rd round Jarry a player who won 2 tournaments this season posed him serious problems with his big serve and forehand but alcaraz won the match in a clutch way without trembling and used it as a perfect prepartion for Matteo Berretini who is top notch on grass and posed him serious trouble by winning the first set and then immidiatly having break points on carlitos's serve again in important moment he was able to raise his level and really he did something spectacular that match wich really made me believe he could beat novak he bullied the italian's first serve like it was nothing , I knew carlos has great return and can punish second serve but for him to be able to neutralise such a big serve and make berretini only win 67% behind first serve this was the testament that the kid is returning almost in andy murray / novak territory his returns are for sure way more effective than nadal's and federer's on grass then reaching the final was a formality but now he was against the monster he started very nervous got blown away by a focused djoko 6-1 , then in the second couldn't conserve his break he still looked nervous to me and then comes the breaker and then kid did to novak what novak does to others , he never panicked I think he made 0 unforced error there , he saved a set point and capitilized on 2 UE from novak he clucthed a winner return dtl curshing novak's serve and volley attempt , after that started to play more free and more intelligent way , net game transition was better , from the baseline he used the slice very well and he once again hold his nerves and went for his shots when in mattered to beat the one many believed to be unbeatable this year , he saved us from another boring grass season this was the best wimbledon since 2019 for sure and probably one of my favourite wimbledon , the changing of the guard has happened the way it should happen by a young brave lion beating the old lion while he is still the man to beat , this is a big victory for tennis as Carlos will be i'm sure an unbelievable ambassador for the game

Djokovic's service did not work for him, because Alcaraz had him scared, distressed, restless and mentally insecure, I even believe that, unconsciously on the part of the Serb, he had the Spaniard since before the game, there is an anecdote in the press conference of Djokovic ,when Alcaraz he faces the Russian Medvedev, and Djokovic in the middle of the press conference, asks who has won in that match, and they tell him that Alcaraz and before he was smiling and when they tell him that news the Serb became completely serious, and he noticed that it had affected him, it will be very, very difficult for Djokovic to win his 24 GS while Alcaraz is in the middle, because Alcaraz's power is so enormous that it will be very difficult for Djokovic to counter it, since Alcaraz is a Kind of like Djokovic from 15 years ago, but with the weapons also incorporated from Federer and Nadal, it's kind of like three players in one, it's kind of a super Saiyan from Dragon Ball or something like that, that's Alcaraz….

All the experts was saying that Novak Djokovic what's going to win I'm a huge fan of tennis and I said that Carlitos what's going to win in 4or5sets. Thus I know this kid is amazing. I know Djokovic still has it he's in great shape always in great condition but this kid is too fast and amazing amazing player. He's going to make it difficult for Djokovic to win his 24 grand slam. Unless Carlitos gets hurt or something. God 4 bit! 😊

Alcaraz was brilliant and clutch in those key moments. Djokovic was as clearly frustrated. You could tell the windy conditions were getting on his nerves. And he made several uncharacteristic errors. But tennis is like that you have to roll with the punches and fight until the end. Which Novak did but it simply wasn’t good enough.

The only player in Carlos age group that he has issue with is with Sinner. Sinner almost beat him at the 2022 US Open where he had a match point. Sinner beat him earlier this year in Miami. But I think Carlos will figure him out in thr future. Runn is one to look out in the future too, he can win a grand slam when he gets older. But Alacarz is and will be the best player of his generation when Djokovic and Nadal are long gone. Will dominate in years to come it's only the beginning for him as he is not even at his peak yet that's why Djokovic took him to five sets.

From I watch this young nan when he first played against Nadal and lost. I said Lord this is a replica of my Tennis hero Rafa . I love Rafa and Carlos. Nadal is the main reason I watch men's tennis . Most of the young players as I said before too hyped . Carlos has his head screwed on. Stay humble just like Nadal don't follow the crowd. Just remember to put your hands in the hands of the man who still the water his name is Jesus.

My last comment before the match was if ND could beat Fed with minimal experience why can't CA beat the Joker. This was nothing to do with experience... This was skill over experience. In other matches, I saw that the Joker was not that sharp. Age is not just a number. Believe me! Furthermore, ND will not win the US open for a lot of reasons...
