I saw that too but once he got up and crested the slope it looked like he had a great chance to get back to his intended line. I watched a little bit of the beginning of the rally stages but lost interest due to time constraints but I’m going to record some more and it’s fascinating videography if nothing else.

You can see him looking for the grip all along the bottom of that ridge. Then he found it when he drove into those green plants/foliage. Then he looks for more and steers right into some. Pretty cool on the fly leaning.
