I've been listening to Carlos since 1970... he's the master. Thru all his stages he has manifested beautiful, majestic sounds that cut right to the heart and make the soul dance!

🙌👏🙌✌️🎸🎶‼️i did get see him live in 1969 in San Francisco. High energy, badassery playing from everyone. I can still remember how it felt to be in that room. Would love to see him again. I love his "voice" on the 🎸🎶✌️🦋

On holiday in 75 San Francisco I went to see B B King at the Winterland. He introduced Carlos as guest so I went to stage door when he came out and signed my USA visa in my UK passport. Top guy, love him.

I learned this song a while back. The nuances of his playing eludes me. That’s why he’s Santana and I’m a hack.😂😂😂 I love that woman tone he gets. I’m mostly a neck pick up guy myself, mostly because I work mostly on jazz, but also because I love the richness it gives notes.

If you haven't seen the video of Santanna at woodstock, you should. "Santanna - Soul Sacrifice 1969 Woodstock Live concerto HQ" I don't know if you knew Stevie has an older brother. Jimmy Vaughan he also was a Muscian and Vocalist. Here's a video of them performing together. "The Vaughan Brothers - Pipeline" and here's another video of them doing an interview together "The Vaughan Brothers - In The Studio"
