Years ago I had to deal with CPS as a new foster parent, thinking that I was opening up my home to children in need and was going to do something good. Instead, I dealt with a revolving door of caseworkers who could care less about the children and I seldom saw the same one twice so they never really knew enough about a particular child's case to be of any real help to them. I could write a book about how awful and disheartening the years I spent fighting a 'system' that needed to be abolished. In the end, I adopted two of my abandoned foster children and got out of that mess....Corruption and disregard is rampant, not only with CPS, but with foster agencies as well....Sickening....I'm glad to see the kind of information in this video exposing CPS. Thank you Mr. Morales for having the courage speak out and fight for justice. It's been about 1.5 yrs since my grandchildren have become a statistic at the hands of this unmerciful, destructive government agency. Since then I have heard an overwhelming amount of testimonies from families who have fallen prey and had their children victimized by CPS/DCS and yet there is something I just can't understand. Why is the so little being done to make a change?? I see a lot of time and energy spent on name calling, blaming and lashing out but I have found little in the way of reform. I can't even find a strong, united group of people that support the cause, raise public awareness, petition the gov't, raise money, share information, or anythng else to stay focused and make a change. I have felt so lost, helpless, alone and with little hope. Since I don't have alot of money, I don't know where to turn or what to do. I hurt so much for not only my grandchildren but for all the children that have their lives destroyed in the name of power and greed. This years elections provided a perfect opportunity for just such a group to question candidates and bring the issue to the forefront. History demonstrates that the best way to change something is to give it a lot of attention. There has been a great deal of attention brought to the children of immigrants. Are our own children right here on our own homeland not worthy of the same? I ask for anyone who knows where to begin to please step forward and take the reigns. Lead us so we may come together and organize to make a difference. I would like to build on the work Mr. Morales has done and take it to the next level. There IS strength in numbers. Our kid is now 14 and needs his parents There was 10 hole years I (the mother of my child) was not allowed to see my son! Just because a man that DCF put my son under Temporary Relative Care with, decided HE didn't like me! My son is not even related to this guy, but yet he thinks he has the right to go over the court when the case was closed out as UNSUPERVISED visitation! And I'm forced to"walk on eggshells" every time I now see my son! I'm not even allowed to talk to my son as a mother, according to this guy! All while I have basically had him come steal my son from my husband, when I went to the hospital for a sezure! ....and then him get away with it and a lot more, because he's got money and I have a disability! ( Clarence should NOT be able to discriminate against somebody, just because of a disability! I've had many people tell me,they wouldn't have never known I had a disability, if I hadn't have told them!)

Also, I do like it when the agency gets in legal trouble because that's the only way the state will do anything about the agency.

If the deed has already been done, then they should correct the situation and pay compensation to those they have given kids and taken away from.

Our case began forty years ago with an idle comment regarding the legalization of cannabis, to someone we thought was a friend. There is a vast layer of permanent bureaucracy that has to go .For instance judges are legally insulated from all accountability short of felonious behavior.

They never "talked" to my baby..he was 4 months old! Although he was "talking" now he is a year old, but removed on an "emergency" court order which took 3 days! What an emergency! Yet he's been to the ER 5 times and the doc countless times since removal, never in our care. Our caseworker knows he is being abused, I've now been doing "services" privately. When they asked who my therapist was I said "Carlos Morales." He knew exactly who I was speaking of (Bexar County) and I was not lying, he is extremely therapeutic for me. Far more than the people contracted by CPS to also lie or back up the lies of CPS.

I am living a parents worst nightmare, over the past 5yrs,a man with a stalker-like hatred for me has filed 20 completely fraudulent 51as on me,he is driven by his dislike for me. I have proven all of the accusations false again&again, have always cooperated w/DCF ,been honest and trusting of the system. I badly regret not educating myself sooner. They get away with it because even when you are innocent, there is shame attached to saying you have DCF involvement. I live in reality, I know I was NEVER abusive,neglectful, on drugs or emotionally unstable. So I wasn't fearful, they opened 2 of the 20 cases for bogus things like"normal dirty feet" when wearing sandals, also walking barefoot on our hardwood floors. I read the worker their definition of neglect and asked how it applied to me? She couldn't answer. In MA there is a loophole they call "substantiated concern" so you cant even get a fair hearing because its not supported, but they are still involved in our life..They knew this was a attack against me from a person who openly admitted he wanted to get my child taken away, yet they allowed him to continue w/o any consequences. They started to harass me just because they could, show up w/town police, dragged my name through the mud, ultimately a panic attack is why they assumed custody of my little girl. Even after I voluntarily had a 2wk psych eval, that stated I was sound of mind and diagnosed w/ADHD, &Anxiety. 9mths later and I'm still fighting to get her home. I hope my story helps even one child & their family to never trust in the system,Even if you are the best parent in the world, please beware of DCF, don't speak w/them w/o an Atty, at the very least ,if they come knocking, record/tape EVERYTHING and never allow them to speak to your child w/o you present. Hold your babies close..this is madness. This past yr.has destroyed my child...No child should have to endure the trauma my daughter has lived through and its taken a toll on her. Can anyone please recommend a lawyer in California? I have had 2 dcfs cases, my kids were removed for 2 years. Now going on to a 3rd case, my kids are happy healthy safe and loved. I feel like CPS and Dcfs are just trying to find any reason to try to take my kids from me. My kids and I have been through enough. We cant go through that again.

they have done this to my three sons and will not help us get them back we have tried everything and they have split up the boys in different homes. now my youngest son has gone missing and cps will not call me back. they took my kids from a neighbors house. They will not allow us classes or anything to get them back. they want me to leave my husband but we are innocent and are being abuse by the system. I am frustrated and scared for my youngest. he was very close to me. they are destroying our family. In 2009 my husband got hit by a construction grader and became disable. we struggle financially and they took them from us. we got them back cuz we were not criminal or ever did drugs. Now this time a tree fell on our house we got stressed out and have a verbal argument. I took the kids to a neighbor while we hashed things out. the cops and arrested both of us saying the court will find out if you are innocent . we were released but a year later still do not have our children and barely see them . they have not provide any services. so we asked for services and they canceled them on us until we got a mental eval. The pshycologist said that this should not be happening to us. since the eval my son has gone missing I have not seen him in 2 month and has been separated from his brothers, they are all in separate homes. I am scared, worried and frustrated. if I address them at all the just write we are hostile when we are not. my children are skinny and sick and poorly dressed. my boys want to come home. yesterday my 8 year old told me at a visit that they are tell him he will be adopted. Oh yes, the best part, I was made a foster parent to my own grandbaby so that she would be included in the adoption and safe families Act of 1997. Isn't that a kick. If it's there, CPS will find it. Again, my psychological evaluator ordered to State differently on my evaluation and to instead state that I was unsafe to be around children, which he refused to do. He too had been a prior CPS psychological evaluator. I only know this qualification inquiry because it was brought up in court. After all was said and done, a foster parent caseworker actually came to my home to ask me if I would consider becoming a foster parent again. I had let my license lapse not knowing the reason I had it in the first place because I was never given any children. Even at that time I didn't know why but I do now and thank God I said no because they would have used it to take my oldest granddaughter who had been in my custody since birth and was 9 years old! These people will go to no ends to get your children! To get that money! My corrupt worker was shaking so bad while interrogating me in front of everyone that she had to leave the office only to return within two minutes completely calm and laughing. I don't know what she had taken but it was something that worked very quick. Oh and they don't say the word God at all! Against the rules!

I worked as a Case Planner in the Ongoing Department of CPS. Ongoing is where cases that are not closed within 60 days are transferred to.Anyways,the Case Manager I worked under was awesome,she was not corrupt like her cohorts.She advocated for family reunification.

I love how they always say "err on the side of caution" My sister went to college and became a SW for the state, very short time!! She quit when she realized that when they investigate a case if the parents don't immediately bend over for the workers then they the workers 90% percent of the time open a case on the family. Her trainer admitted during my sister's training period that she removed the kids from a home just because she didn't like the child's mom on a personal level, nothing wrong with the home or children, just a ticked off neighbor making a false report. When she told me this story, no names mentioned of course, just general parts of the stories, I asked her so your telling me a SW can remove my son for no other reason then the worker doesn't like my outfit and she said YES as her head and eyes looked dead into the floor in shame. LIke I said very short period of time, she gave her notice upon completion of her training period. Now she works inside a school making sure kids have the items they need for school and any after school help she can arrange that, she is happy with her job now that she can actually help people. DCBS plain and simple is legalized child traffiking, at some point the idea behind it had good intentions but when you give people the power to be God so to speak, it changes them, it changed the system.

I heard of a woman who got married ad had a daughter. She was a paraplegic and was divorcing her husband cuz he was molesting their 4 y/o daughter at the time. He was granted custody and she was forced to pay child support outta her disability check. The child was upset and scared to go with the dad cuz he hurt her. Now the woman is in her wheelchair and homeless cuz she couldn't pay her bills no more. She only had little visitation rights.... all cuz she was in a wheelchair.

My ex grounded her 14 year old daughter and as a revenge move she reported me to CPS for sexual abuse that never happened.

I always wanted to see a child who was raised by a cps worker. My wish was granted. I work with a young man who is 20 years old. His mother worked as a social worker most of her adult life. She even called the big shots as head supervisor. So she made the decisions on what kids should be taken in my area and what kids should rot in their abusive homes. She just recently retired. Guess what she is a horrible drunk. Perhaps she's haunted by the faces of all the children she destroyed. Her son is a spoiled rude entitled brat. He treats people like garbage. He is also a drug addict. He grew up hearing about horrendous child abuse. You would think shielding his young psyche would've been on her list of things to do. I guess not. He told me about his mother always going straight to the bottle and the men. He is forced into living in a one room apartment with 3 other young people because she drinks all of the time and has to have her drunk men and friends around. She can't stand being alone. Her son has gotten away with drinking and driving on several occasions. This is because his mother the social worker has ties with the police. This young man has never had any repercussions for his bad deeds. Eventually since this young man is a meth user he will either hurt or kill himself or someone else. And when that finally happens I will blame her. It sickens me to know that this woman was the head hauncho making hard life decisions for the people of my area. More money is spent on re homing kids than helping vulnerable familes. The group home children in my area are all prostituting themselves and if they aren't participating in it they are exposed to it. The system is beyond broken and to continue on with CPS in it's current form is a crime against humanity.

DCFS in Illinois got whipped when I took action against them thru our state rep and governor for breach of confidentiality laws along with a hand written report made by the supervisor written in 4th grade language. A shake down took place across the state. The results were published in the St Louis Post Dispatch. Only 2 supervisors were qualified with Masters Degrees, and 2 had a HS diploma and most the case workers were not qualified for their jobs. If people would focus more on the qualifications of the CPS goons and make an issue about it, perhaps the same shakedown could happen in their state. Unfortunately, anyone with a Master’s degree in music does qualify a person to hold a supervisory position with COS. This agency was formed in 1967 with a rag tag sloppy plan for their organization that is parasitical to every cent they can squeeze out of the government. CPS are agents of our government and our elected ones need to be held responsible for their rogue conduct. My case arose from an abusive narcissistic ex who transmitted over 20 unfounded calls to DCFS. They wouldn’t press charges against him.

I was a councilwoman in 2009 when my grandbaby was legally stolen. She was living with me and her older sister who were both very happy together. CPS began talking to other family members who stated that 40 years prior a deceased husband had smoked marijuana, possibly had grown it. In either case, after a long disruptive painful series The visitations in below zero weather making my grandbaby so sick her sister so with grief, CPS eventually coerced me by stating they would take my custodia older granddaughter who I had had custody of since birth if I did not bring her baby sister back to them. My housekeeper drove the car because my tears were such that I couldn't see the road. My grandbaby in the backseat not knowing what was going to happen to her. I left her older sister with a neighbor afraid they would take her as well. The worker visited my psychological evaluator and demanded that he State I was not safe against his will of which he called me to warn was happening. My evaluation have been good and remain that way. A letter stated the same. Even CPS district manager, legislators, the district attorney, ombudsman, friends and Neighbors, all went to court with me, the judge a slumlord working with only one corrupt worker and corrupt gal to take my grandbaby won the case. I fought the case all the way to Supreme Court Pro Se as a paralegal who could not afford an attorney , the Supreme court who waited to make a decision until adoption papers were signed against my daughter's will, then, rendering a decision of moot. CPS told my daughter they would allow her to keep her unborn child if she signed the adoption papers to adopt my grandbaby to my WIC worker who had chosen her from a visit. There is a video where in my grandbaby states that her daddy comes in her room with no clothes on. There is no one to call. She is being molested and there's nothing I can do about it... her living 20 minutes away. My being in jail won't help her. My oldest granddaughter has left home now and I don't know where she is. She tried to commit suicide. She was going to be a doctor but quit school right after that happened. Her life is in Ruins as well and she feels responsible because I had to save her. I feel like the woman in the Bible who was given the choice to split the baby in half. I told my granddaughter she was not to blame, CPS was and will always be to blame. They destroyed a happy home. They were going to ruin my Council career. Take my home Etc. I ran for Senate endorsed by my state of Washington the next year , 2010, and was going to shut CPS down with everything I had but I didn't win. I wasn't prepared and was too consumed. I was also stalked by the g a l and didn't want to risk losing my oldest granddaughter as well. I had to remain quiet. I don't have to remain quiet any longer.

As a CPS investigator, I know how even the small things can escalate into something big. I would like to see a more understanding and empathetic approach. Perhaps abolish CPS, even. What do we do about the kids that are really being abused and neglected? There are parents that do neglect their kids over drugs (meth and pain pills). There are parents that do beat and sexually abuse their kids. We would still need to do what we can to help them, right? Or do we just let them be?

Yeah my in-law used to love to call dcf on me to try to get my kids so she could get housing and welfare she admitted it to other family she was tired of being homeless . Well after over 70 calls , and me not knowing yet it was her nor did dcf yet , she babysat for me and the morning after while with my kids she walked into court and said I abandoned them over a month prior and couldn’t locate me at all - they went right w it and then told me to get them bk I had to leave my husband - we’ll their words were I’d suggest leaving your husband if u ever want your kids back. I have had my dhs worker tell me who made my report. Witch is not supposed to happen. Also it was because my three year old daughter fell off her bike and broke her leg. First major injury and the doctor claimed abuse. How many kids get hurt playing outside 😂 tons and I'm still dealing with them now it was a whopping month before they came out to my house now I think they care why would I wait a whole month to protect a child in a abusive situation. Dcfs social workers Daphne in the state of Massachusetts went to UMass memorial hospital to kidnap a twin babies girl born premature while the mother (my daughter)was discharged go every day to breastfeeding them to the hospital and being told that dcf have them.(kidnapped them)
