I wonder at 8:45 , why can’t danya take the knight with c3 pawn? I’m low elo so it’s not clear to me why danya decides to grab the queen instead of the knight . If anybody knows I’d appreciate it
@DudeWithTheNose6 ай бұрын
naro's queen is undefended so he has to trade queens before taking the knight. unfortunately for danya, magnus can desperado the knight with check before recapturing, but it's still the better option

Can someone explain how rook takes bishop in the end is winning?
@chinmayaprakash6 ай бұрын
Rook did not take bishop. Watch again. Instead it supported the pawn which forked the black king and rook, going up an exchange. More than enough material advantage to win.
@chrishamilton17286 ай бұрын
kxg7 is forced else black has qxh7# Then rg1+ and the black king has only 3 moves, 2 are mate in one and one is mate in two. kg8 qxf6# kf8 qxf6# kf7 qxg7+ kf8 qg7#

@chinmayaprakash6 ай бұрын
@@Philippecastro427 no worries. I took the "in the end" quite literally. This is why timestamps are useful when asking questions related to positions. And the fact that the last game also ended at a juncture involving play by rook and bishop did not help. Talk about recency bias.

It was a discovered attack on the Queen, if he took the e4bishop Magnus counterattacked with bishop h2 check leaving the Queen under an unavoidable attack with the tower thanks to the sacrifice of the bishop

Brothers and Sisters, God loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus Christ for us to save us from our sins, and he bled and died on a cross for us to redeem us from death, and to gain life everlasting, for those who put their trust in him. And what's more, he has risen, and is willing to call you to repentance (correction) and as his witness, by his grace indeed. "For it is by grace you are saved, through faith". Jesus loves you, God cares for you!
