Hikaru plays pretty good against Magnus I know Fabiano is rated second in the world but Hikaru is definitely a Beast and plays so tough vs Magnus I’m sure those pieces were flying at the end of the game hard to be precise with time control Thanks for the Game enjoy your day James

Unusual to see Magnus lose an endgame that only has 2 good pieces and a few pawns. He usually wins those. Looks as if he made that one mistake at the end because he was in the middle of the board and maybe could have kept dancing around for a draw.

Oh I should have covered that, I think you can go kg2 in a lot of lines, defend knight, sac the exchange and connected passed pawns are very powerful plus knight rotates into d2 and then e4

I'm surprised you analyzed this game. It was so predictable. Of course Hikaru won after most of the pieces came off the board. He's the end game guru. Magnus didn't stand a chance.
