Carlson School of Management Flash Mob, Deck the Halls

The Carlson School of Management received a surprise visit from a saxophonist...and nearly 300 of his friends from the University of Minnesota's School of Music this November.

WOW! Talk about school spirit. I am a deployed service member in support of Operation New Dawn. Being away from home is hard, this brought joy to my day. Great job ladies and gentleman.

I don't think it matters whether this was about money or not; This video was great and those students and faculty put in a lot of work. It made a bunch of people smile and possibly made someone's day. If you don't have anything nice to say don't say it. Have a wonderful day and enjoy the holidays.

My middle son was a freshman at the U that year (2011) and sent me the link. I love flashmobs but this is my all-time favorite! I share it EVERY year with my friends on facebook and the students in my fall semester classes. :)

If onnly we could we all be part of a world chorus this year and beyond, raising our voices just for the Spirit of it! Never mind it was staged...the Spirit of Hope was raised for those who were not part of the chorus and filming crew. This is an example of people giving of themselves just for the Joy of it.

The beauty of the Cross of Christmas is that it carries the weight of the world on the shoulders of a humble child born in a manger, lived 33 years, taught ultimate principles and conquered sin and death on the Cross. So the last remark of the singers was a QUESTION: "What are we going to deck?"...this Christmas Holiday season? Our halls, houses, bodies, possessions or hearts? I hope and pray the latter!

Thank you Carlton High School. Berlin (Germany) enjoyed this great Christmas gift very, VERY much. My eyes swelled up with tears of Joy and laughter....it's ALWAYS wonderful to see God's spirit in the younger generation. Thus, by doing so,...it gives me (as well as others) HOPE for the future. This is awesome! I loved how quiet it got when the saxophone started playing and I also loved when the security guy came in to sing. Wish this happened at my school! (also, this school looks like a mall).

Music brings people together. This is a wonderful video with amazingly talented people performing before a "captured" audience of even more amazingly talented people. When people try to tell me there is no hope in this world and for the younger generations in particular, I'll simply smile and remember this video.

I just now know what the "Security Officer" said into his VHF Transceiver, He said "Go with throttle up", Ut ooooh!, Another Space Shuttle blown up, with the blessing of the Security Officer, @ Carlson School of Management @ Univ. of Minn. Thank you Carlson!
