I am truly 'Amazed' . . . I'm from New York and I have NEVER been able to find anyone who loves this song as much as I do. This song 'Excites' me!! I've been blasting it on my stereo system for years! I've probably bored my neighbors hehe. This song for some strange reason didn't make it in the US but it did well elsewhere. I've been listening to this song since it first came out back in 1982. I'm touched to have finally found others who feel the way I do about this special song - SMILES!!

This used to be played towards the end of the night back in the glory days of raves in '88-89! So too was Phil Collins 'in the air tonight'! I'm shocked to find out it was made in '82! Respect to those who remember it from the raves!

Glad to hear you like this song I"ve been listening to since it first came out back in 1982. I never get tired of listening to this song! You probably never heard it before because it didn't hit big here in the US only UK and others. I've had a passion for this song ever since I first heard it on the radio. Glad to see someone else in the US likes it too! Smiles!!

It's this type of music and all that great stuff still buried in the 40s thru 80s that has me buying up vinyls at garage sales / online sites / ads on craigslist / and in thrift stores and the local Vinyl store... modern music doesnt have that style or soul anymore... I can easily grab a vinyl on a whim and play it and odds are i'll enjoy the music... cant do that almost ever with modern tunes and get the same results.

Fan Dancers were these guys who would bring these huge ornate fans and dance with them in a very choregraphed way - this was usually at around 9AM on Sunday morning when Morning Music was playing just before the club would shut down at 10 or 11 AM. Everyone would leave feeling good...

folks, Y say this song didn't make it in the usa? i would ask U consider what U mean by "make it." during this period of time music was coming at u from everywhere in abundance. this wasn't a pop sing-a-long song hit, but it was a HUGE UNDERGROUND NIGHTCLUB song. that means it "made it" n usa. everything can't b top 40. i played at the underground sista club 2 garage n DC "the clubhouse this was my #1 for an entire fall & winter of yr. use 2 mix with the quicks, "1 nite in a blackout" also #1
