i met scott and todd on tour. they were so freakin nice and i was nervous and my husband was recording the meet and greet and i literally touched todd's butt by mistake in front of my husband and i apologized. they were super sweet esp scott. also, scott's performance was incredible. for the most part todd just sat by his keyboard while a bunch of girls pined over him. it was hilarious. but scott's talent is even better in person.

I met him on the kissland tour in 2013, videos on my channel, and also his first fall tour in 2012. but anyways for the first tour, I went to the Orlando show, at the House Of Blues. very small venue, only two levels, and no seats, just a pit, only a few hundred people there. He posted about a sore throat on Twitter so everyone was worried it was gonna be a no show. basically he was just 2 hours late to when the show was scheduled. which was annoying in the moment because I was scared he wasn’t going to show up, my mom drove me an hour from home, when I was 15, and I went to the concert alone because nobody I knew, knew who he was back then, but I begged her so she took me. it would’ve been so upsetting if he didn’t show, probably would’ve cried lmao. but he showed up and he did THAT. the show made up for it, being that close to him and hearing him and seeing him made it so worth it. okay so now the 2013 kissland tour. me and my friend heard word he was doing signings after the show, so we brought our kissland albums. what made it weird is he was only signing albums, and they were selling albums in the line to meet him, and if you tried to get him to sign anything else you would be kicked out of the booth he was doing the signings in or the line. no pictures allowed either. it seemed strange because this was his second tour and the venues back then were so small. there weren’t many people who stayed after the show either because they didn’t even know about the signing. and people who tried to sneak take a picture of him during the signings, were literally getting pushed out of the booth by his security. idk it rubbed me the wrong way because it seemed like he just wanted his album sales to go up... idk if he actually wanted to meet his fans. but then again, it could’ve been his team at the time. anyways he signed my album and we had a nice conversation and I’ll say he was really nice, and he complimented my DIY kissland merch that I specifically made because of him and the show. it could’ve just been his team, because later I saw on Instagram others who were at the show through Instagram tags, the people in the back of the line he took pictures with. like the last 20 people. who knows? I feel honored to have met him, shake his hand, and to have had a conversation with him. and if anyone knows anything about Abel, back then, his drug use was way heavier, his behavior was kinda wild, but I get it. because I was going through opiate/pill addiction at the time and still am, been through cocaine addiction too, all that, you can see how much he’s evolved and changed. he seems so much happier and healthier now, he’s done so well for himself, and we love to see it. everyone was smoking weed and high af at these two shows I went too, and he even was speaking to the crowd saying “WHOS HIGH RIGHT NOW” he interacted with the crowd so much, he seemed lit af, but when it came to him performing his music, those vocals STAYED on point and he still killed it, through and through. full stop. these are just my experiences, I don’t think he’s a bad guy, I think he’s been through a lot, but it’s not excuse to treat people like shit. not saying he did, but I’m sure he’s acted like a dick when he was faded af and high off his face on multiple substances. obviously I may be seen a little biased because I’m still a huge fan to this day lmfao. I’d love to hear others encounters with him if anyone has any!
