Farhan Norazwan Tom Hanks a serious actor? You should watch his earlier stuff which I will assume you haven't seen. There is Big, Bachelor Party, Joe vs. the Volcano, Turner and Hooch, and League of Their Own. His movies of the 80's were huge comedies. He started taking on more serious roles in the 90's.

This is what I think of when I hear the term "pop star". The song is awesome, catchy, she has a unique voice, and she doesn't rely on a revolting/crazy public persona. The music's upbeat, clean, and positive. Pop music is meant to make you feel good. I love Carly Rae Jepsen!

This song is catchy but that's all. The melody is basic and non-interesting. You probably like this bubblegum pop but it's just a subcategorie (and thanks God for that). Pop music has too be unique even if it doesn't necesserely have to be ambitious. Carly is too generic, she must find what make her unique and capitalize on it. Tbh, this song could have been sing by everybody and her voice is so autotuned that you can't even hear how nice her voice actually is.
