I love this song! No one writes a song from the Bible stories like Carman Licciardello. The story of Lazarus always reminds me that this life is not all that we think it is. Even though Lazarus had been dead for four days, his body had even begun to break down and "stink" but with one word...he came BACK TO LIFE!!! All that death did to his body was GONE! The first time I heard this song it brought me to tears...I think that is what is called "anointed". :)

How about praying for him to be healed so that he can continue his ministry for many many more years. God has blessed him with an amazing gift. To be absent from here, is to to be present with the Lord, for those of us who have accepted Christ. As my husband says, I'm not ready for the Lord to come back, not because I have doubts in my faith, but I have many more people I wish to share it with.

***** If we don't pray for Carman to be healed then that wouldn't make us good Christians either cause the bible says that we need to pray for all sickness to go away. The only person that has the say in whether or not the sickness doesn't leave is God and only for the reason that it's that persons time to go.

DO NOT pray for Carman to be healed rather pray for his Ministry to win souls... The Eternal is much more important than the Temporal...REMEMBER that...

Why cant you just pray for both things. Personally I feel that you ask God once, then just thank Him that its done. Unless God told you specifically not to pray for Carman, thats not a very loving way to look at things.
