It's a sad reality. Sometimes your crush, who happens to be your best friend, finds and falls in love with someone else. They will only think of you as only a friend and nothing more, but nothing less. I know this from experience and I ended up hurting my best friend to the point he stopped speaking to me and avoided me all together. The best thing you can do is just be supportive, even if it means getting hurt

Summary: (I’ll be adding some details not shown in the animatic) Owen and his mom go to their hometown to visit his grandma during the summer. There, he meets Ollie and befriends him. (Owen never figured out that Ollie was a boy) They spend their summer together, but eventually, Owen has to go back home to the city. Ollie’s sister takes one last photo of them together. They say their goodbyes and promise to meet each other again next summer, but sadly, Owen’s parents divorced and his dad took custody of him, resulting him to stay in the city for 6 years. As time passed, they eventually met new friends and forgot about each other. In 2015, Owen move in with his mom, who now lives with his grandma on his hometown. He decided to continue his studies there and transfer as a high school junior. During his first week in school, he gets scouted by the football team captain, gets assigned to replace the student council treasurer AND takes Oliver’s title of “top-notch student” in their grade. This causes Oliver to have a slight irritation with Owen, which in turn, Owen finds rather amusing. All throughout their days in school, Owen tends to enjoy messing with Oliver as he finds his reactions very cute. One Saturday night, Owen encounters Oliver inside a cinema and notices that he, again, is having a jealous fit because of Jolene. Owen is aware of his feelings and constant agony, so he decides to help him have a good time and takes him to an arcade. They leave and get caught in the rain, so Oliver suggests that they head over to his house where it’s the nearest. In the house, Owen notices a picture with him in it and a familiar face from his childhood. He eventually realized that the “girl” he had a crush on was Oliver, which left him in a panic and tried to storm out and away from Oliver. Oliver asks him what’s wrong and as Owen was about to reveal he was that chubby kid with glasses who had a crush on him, Jolene appears. End scene Next animatic will be about Jolene and her very complicated story! XD
