Carmine is (not was) a gigantic influence for me. I say "is" because I still find myself going back and listening to his playing over and over, year after year. Thanks for the upload. :-)

Since the book is no longer available, when will it be distributed again? Carmine Appice's other books are fantastic and I miss this one. Thanks.

It's all Funk, R&B and Gospel type crisp Hi-Hat rhythms and "barks" that Carmine is representing here, it's great stuff that should be paid attention to and it will help expand your vocabulary.

He's becoming my favorite drummer ever. Perhaps even with or surpassing Bonham.

@@holygeneration7 Well, you're ears deceive you my brother. His drumming with Dio blows anything away that Carmine has done with - Vannila Fudge, Cactus Blue Murder or other projects. I will say he's a better drummer than John Bonham, the most overwhelmingly overrated drummer in the history of rock music.

Vinny certainly is not better. His style is different but he's definitely not better. He is good, though.
