would never ruin my signs with this or any type of repair. it's not even porcelain in those spots now, just bondo and paint

I'm a professional restorer/conservator with 31 yrs experience, just an FYI, you cannot reporcelain (if you) will an already damaged piece. It doesn't work like that. You can get rid of surface scratches on porcelain by firing at a low temperature, that's about it, and that is on a piece that is structurally sound, and doesn't have damage. There aren't many companies out there that do that.

Yeah really I thought they were going to re porcelain the spots rather that just airbrush 0n paint the owner could have done that

@@sll-tt6bjI know they didn't. Some people assume they did. Restoration is a fine line, to fully restore, painting it or not. That's up to the individual. If it's for resale, I'd think twice. Patina adds value, in some cases.

when the bondo shrinks and the paint fades it will look terrible

So you DIDN'T actually replace the missing porcelain you just used bondo and spray painted over the damaged parts.

Sorry but not good in my opinion ....ive been collecting enamel signs for fifty years and when i bought them in those days for next to nothing they looked good and they still look good but now they are worth ten to twenty times the value ....all i ever do is clean then with car shampoo and polish them with car wax ....chips and damage all add to the character in my opinion....good luck from england

No unfortunately we don't restore the porcelain with porcelain. We used Bondo and Car Paint to repair this sign. Thanks for watching. Jeff

The cheapest way…… the "ARTIST” did a great??? Sorry, but if you want a sign just for the looks; take a sheet of metal and some paint….. I’d rather have the damaged sign than you FIXING it
