I can testify to the fact that I messed it up the first two times I played the game, however It did not bother me because I never knew any better. You however just had to go and tell him, so he does know better. Congratulations. I know the Witcher inside out because I have played it so many times and I have loved learning a little bit more each time. Please don't spoil it again for him mate.

It sucks but thats okay! The devs wouldn't have made it missable, if they didn't expect people to miss it. And that's okay!

You mean you are not rushing everywhere, ignoring all the NPC talk, ignoring all the "!" quests, not checking hidden chests on top of roofs, ignoring the scenery/architectures?

@@alittlecreepywhenyou no he knows, because I commented on it once during a stream and he said "I play like I want" something like that, it just shows me "is rushing" to make a certain "amount of content" per episode, and you would think you cant blame him he is trying his best to make the best video, but he is not aware that the best content for us is when the youtuber fuuuully immerse himself in the game for examplpe deciding to start reading for 30 minutes stuff or just exploring (without any quest) just for fun.

@alittlecreepywhenyou it's weird how any off-comment I make can have people spin their own tales about what they think one of my inabilities are or what's going through my head. When I brought up that mod, did I download it? Did you see me use it? No? That's because I didn't get it. I acknowledged its existence, and understood why some would use it. (2.1 million people downloaded it after all.) But i didn't. Trust me, I know how to live in the moment. And just because I've ignored the yellow icons, you assume I don't know what they are (when I've already done multiple of them in this playthrough LOL), have you considered I just didnt WANT to do them? This series specifically is filled with people that do this. They always just assume I don't know what I'm doing because I make this decision or don't do this thing. Bro, I'm playing this game how I want to. And just because I don't do somethings or don't even know some others does not mean anything substantial about my character. It's baffling how people will just think otherwise when you don't even know me. Cause that ain't even criticism, it's just a strange stance about my character. And I'm not even trying to be rude here. My position might not seem understandable to yall, but when I have tons of people each episode doing this, it starts to get undestandably annoying.

Albert, you always say this but I'm sorry it's said out of ignorance. You don't see what I see. I have the stats of every single episode recorded. I see that EVERY TIME I go and read stuff for example, a TON of people click off the video. So while you're a "professional watcher" like you say, that does not mean everyone is like you. That's why I do some things off screen. I can't please everybody, man. And yeah it's my fault for caring but I'm doing my best here. Uploading a video is only a small part of this job, I have to study the stats of each video and determine what will keep people watching longer. I still read the books, just off screen. Sometimes I boot up the game just to be in its world again. So your stance on me just rushing to get a video out couldnt be more wrong. I've even brought this up in older episodes that I do this. So I'm sorry this ain't some of the other optimal playthroughs you've seen. I even started weaving in heavy attacks and bombs into combat again, but if it's not one thing it's another. There's always something I'm doing some people wished it was s doing different. And again this is my fault for caring what people think, but to what end? Ive been told to not focus on what others think and do what makes me happy in this game. And there are way more kind comments than critical ones, because I haven't actually done anything wrong. And its only just the diehard fans that get like this in comment sections. But this is for real the last time I address anything like this. It's easy to say "we want this" when you don't see the stats. Because youtube is telling me 80% of viewers click off the video at (these) parts, what am I supposed to do to make them not leave I. Those moments? Balancing enjoying the game as much as I can in the way I want is hard when you have a bunch of people watching and commenting on the littlest of things that I do. Even something as simple as a stupid haircut. You think that a lot of this is criticism but that is not what the word means. 99% of these kinda comments are not criticism, they're passive aggressive remarks made because I'm playing in a way they don't like or appreciate. But yeah, I apologize if this came off as rude, it truly wasn't meant to be. But if I don't stand my ground in situations like this, then my perspective will never be potentially understood. I appreciate every kind of support I get, but not showing I have a backbone is just a bad thing to me.

I also would click off if there was more than 5 minutes read probably, but that example is to explain the "mindset" we desire to see a player having. I will explain to you where (IMHO) you are doing a mistake. 1) If you start get super curious about the lore, maybe read for 30 minutes (off screen or not), but insert a timestamp to tell people (you can skip the reading part at xx), then that would have GOOD consequences OVERALL, because now you are immersed in the quests and you are doing them well, and you are "curious", you want to know what the people are talking about (for example random npcs talking about radovid or whatever), it just SHOWS, and it becomes a more pleasurable viewing experence. So Its not about reading for 30 mins and risk having viewers clicking off, its about the consequence on your playing experience. Trying to avoid having click off has the consequence of looking like you are rushing, and you are not enjoying it. 2) Another example I said was having the player play the game without doing quests, just walking, exploring, reading the menus a bit. => That is not something that makes me skip. I think there could be a balance. So if you dont fast travel or if you walk in between quests instead of horse riding, you could take your time to loot the map, plants, take A MINUTE to see what is missing in the alchemy lab. Have you checked what are missing ingredients? Have you checked what is the werewolf decoction? (that you skipped) NOP you did not "yet". Have you tried the blind bomb on wolfs? I personally did not aswell, but it was so interesting to see it (in another stream), so that kind of stuff is interesting to watch imo and would not warant a click off. All of this explains why you got that reaction when memntioning the fast travel, it means you are not ready anytime soon to live in the moment, or at least it seemed. (Live in the moment = doing everything else in the in the wicther that is not a quest = the quest seems like a chore that you must finish then go to the next item in the list) 3) I personally clicked off on a video because I felt a disconnect, not because you missed the secret room at the entrance of the phillipa hideout, but because I felt that even if I told you, you .. would not care. I mean its just loot.. but then again.. its a just a virtual item.. and then, its just a video game, and then.. who cares.. and then why even watch. 4) You said you are not interested in the quests that you have outleved! Are you serious? Do you realise that in one of them you will meet one of your fellows from the wolf witcher school? Yeah that's how big of mistake you are making. I mean what is your logical explanation heree? That you are not getting exp from low level quests? Or that you want to advance and lower level quests .. became a chore that you can just skip? (hence the other guy mentioning "not living" , implything just rushing) - Finally: Other than that I agree you have to show your personality and say "you play as you like", but the problem is you sometimes you will miss on things, but nobody is perfect, you will find yourself missing previous honest opinion. I dont know what is the balance to have, listening to everything comments say? (I persoanlly find the haircut comments riot ridiculous lol, you were fine). Or playing as you want? I dont know what should be the balance. I guess "doing my best" is what anybody can do.

Taking a minute to explore gameplay mechanics, reading the name of ingredients you need in alchemy, etc? Nah man who has time for that

I assumed it'd be in the moment but if I choose not to, then my option is gone. So I'd rather get to know Yen, then when both their quests appear I make my romantic choice then friendzone the other.

@@KingdomAce Yeah, also its unfortunate that you got spoiled which quest is about romancing. As long as other quests are not spoiled I think its kinda not a big deal. Again you can go meet Yen right now WITHOUT failing ANY quest in novigrad. You can go and come back with simple travel posts (same with white orchade). Also skellige entey is level 16. and it has many small quests that are lower levels than that, just saaaaying

Yeah the mod I saw is that you can fast travel FROM anywhere but you can only fast travel to places you've been. Not just anywhere on the map
