At 1:52. That's Shelshley Walsh hill climb. The oldest, continuous running racetrack in the world. It's a very tight course, absolutely mental what they run up here. Well worth a visit.

Gaz Girl + S50b32 is really great engine :) 239 kW (321 bhp) best engine in E36

Hey can someone explain that M3 to me please be kind lol.....I noticed it's LHD but def Euro plates on it . Reason I brought it up was because I always assumed the non American M3s were RHD with the Upgraded motor

MG RV8 is no longer made, and most that were manufactured were intended for the Japanese market where there was a very long waiting list.

the successor to the mgb was the horrible mgc with a healy industrial inline 6 which weighed in at a whopping 706 lbs in us trim i owned one of these and they had outstanding front suspension to try and deal with the oversteer but it wasnt enough at the same time the triumph gt6 had an all aluminium 6 that with tripple webbers was a rocket and to add the front clip that opened up like a race car was bithcin

Banned? Maybe they were not imported because they did not meet requirements - like for safety? I was hoping to learn something but this was not very informative. Mostly kids working hard to ruin whatever car they had gotten their hands on.

Well, most of these cars weren't outright banned by the government per se, it just that since most of the automakers had no intentions of selling these cars new in the U.S., they never did the crash testing and EPA regulations that all new cars must go through. For example, MG and Lancia chose not to sell cars in America, so they never got approved. In the case of the M3, the EU market engine couldn't comply with American emissions laws and it would have costed BMW a lot of money to re-engineer it. This would have not made any economic sense seeing the M cars (especially in the 90's) are low production, niche cars. So BMW just decided to put a slightly modified U.S. engine in our M3. Whats changed is that under American law, one can freely import a non-compliant car to American soil, provided that they are more than 25 years old. All the cars on the list qualify.

Ah o.k. we have something kinda simalar over here where after 25 yrs a car gets classic status meaning cheaper road tax and insurance..i gotta say though it blows my mind to discover that the home of the v8 muscle car and the pickup has stricter safety/emissions than europe or japan!

you could import any car you want in US as long as its at least 25 years old we i live in virginia and there is a jdm importer in christiansburg virginia has over 300 jdm cars for sale www.duncanimports.com/dealership/about.htm

American import laws are 15 years so the R34 gtr was eligible for import in 2014 for 1999 model to 2017 for 2002 model. Do a fucking better job.

This must make Americans realise that there are NO American supercars. All of the best cars there have ever been come from Europe, and a few from Japan. America is decades behind the rest of the world, and still uses ancient and cheap, engineering, such as solid rear axles, and only single camshaft, push rod valve gear in their poor, underpowered engines. It must be embarrassing to be them.
