I’ve cruised on the Vista and Panorama in Havana cabins and loved it.nice to have a pool and jacuzzis that were never crowded. Nice to see the tides pool on the celebration

Great review! We just got off the Celebration and agree, the bathrooms need to be 4" to 6" wider. It would have made a very big difference!

I'll be in one of these for a b2b in November. I feel better seeing what you paid as I paid much less. Pays to book early. I book Carnival and have had no issues. Got a couple of good offers through my PVP. I did a standard, standard balcony on Mardi gras and was very happy with the cabin. This extended standard balcony is going to be a pleasure. Chaise lounge first thing. Thanks for the info. Go slow on that pizza. 😊

Did you try a lot of the different foods? I know you're not into the sit-down menu based meals, which is a wise move on these newer ships (since that seems to be a really weak area). We thought Big Chicken is excellent (wish it was open for dinner), street eats also phenominal (but only open for 2-3 hours on certain days). And Guy's and Iguana are always reliable of course. The layout of the Pig and Anchor for dinner on MG was kind of awkward. It started with the matre'd who would wander away from her post for 10+ minutes at a time, but eventually she would seat you. Then the crew would plate much of the food from the buffet area in that room--but passengers would occasionally walk up to that buffet and either ask for things, or reach through and take things when the buffet was only supposed to be used by the crew at that time. Then they would plate a really skimpy meal and shut it all down at 9:30pm, even though the buffett still had a bunch of food in all the trays. Just an overall awkward setup. I actually really like just the basic meat and veggies there, but Carnival has made it harder to get a filling meal there than it should be (and MG has been sailing for over a year, should be running smoothly). There was a port day where I had one of those aft hot tubs and pools almost to myself--but on sea days they would definitely fill up. On the first day or two of the cruise, I'm not sure if everyone realized that that aft pool and hot tubs were available for everyone to use.

Hey Jim - great video! Thank you for your content! Wife and I booked 10442 which is just a couple down from this one. Did you happen to ask your room steward if you could get some loungers for that big balcony? We're wondering if we could get a couple for our cruise.

It doesn't look like there is an upper pullman or a pullout bed like I was told. I booked a balcony which they said sleeps 4, but this room doesn't look like 4 people can sleep in it.

Hi Jim I'm going on the Carnival Panarama in under 2 weeks and have already did my check in and it was accepted. My question is when do I get the health questionnaire, is it closer to cruise time or do we no longer need it
