We spent an amazing day on this beautiful Island with our friends Chris and Bianca from @Endlesscruises
Oh, and @ParkersOnTheGo and @SiegleMedia were there too having a good time.
We got a golf cart to explore on our own (NOT an official Carnival excursion), and on our stops we had the Grand Turk Lightning and some jerk chicken at The Lazy Donkey, then we visited Cockburn Town Beach and the Turks and Caicos Museum, and our final stop was the amazing beach house Home Sweet Home, which is one of the main destinations for tourists to spend the day in Grand Turk! Talking about Home Sweet Home, we’d like to thank Jackie, Joseph and the whole team for such a great time and hospitality!
And final back to the port for a lil more exploration!
And we must say, renting a golf cart is the best way to discover Grand Turk!

We cruised to Grand Turk in November 2022.Our first time there and it was such a wonderful little Island. We absolutely lived it.

What a GREAT episode. I have been all over the Caribbean and others, but never to Grand Turks. I'll need to find a future cruise that goes there. You have peaked our interest. Fun time everything you did. Fun group of guests. Home Sweet Home looked amazing. But somehow I doubt that was a cruiseline excursion. My wife and I are pretty much stuck on those -insurance policy. But we can live the DIY excursions through others. Finally, Guga, can't say that outfit you had on was a match that I would wear. Ha! Continue having a great cruise.

Hahaha… Thanks Tim! Whats wrong with my over printed outfit? How dare you? 😂😂😂😂 And yes! They definitely had excursions through the cruise line, specially to Home Sweet Home, and you could also rent a group golf cart and follow “the leader”! What was fun about doing on our own is that we got to see the whole island! 😊 Guga

What a fun port stop!!! Do the donkeys and horses just run around that island like nobody owns them??? That was crazy!!!

They have owners but they run freely in the island, the girl at the Lighthouse said some may be wild! They were brought to the island to transport salt, but I guess there is no use for them towards that anymore, so they’re like pets or transport!

Right at the port at a kiosk, there are many companies and guys offering them at the port! 🙂

I didn’t see any cab around the island, but I’m sure you can get some transportation at the port to go from point A to point B, even if its a golf cart with a driver! 😅

Home sweet home is an excursion on Carnival Mardis Gras. We wondered if they let you walk up and pay separate from an excursion? How much?

If you contact them on social media (Facebook for example) and let them know I think they may arrange something for you! Also if u decide to go there at your own risk I think they may take you in as well, if they’re not sold out! But I’m not sure how much that would cost! Just tell Jackie from there you saw Home Sweet Home on Guga and Rob channel, or Endless Cruises (Chris and Bianca), and they may let you stay! Don’t forget to leave a nice tip! 😄

There are lots of kiosks offering them as soon as you walk off the ship at the little mall at the port!
