Come and join us for day 1 on board the Carnival Mardi Gras for our first ever cruise! In this vlog we show our experience of travelling from Orlando to the cruise terminal in Port Canaveral. We then embark onto the ship and take you for a full tour of our stateroom. Following that, we explore the ship and check out some of the fantastic entertainment and dining options on board!

@@MrM-il9drwell I'm afraid everybody's filming now and uploading it onto a social media platform . And there's no law being broken , so people will just have to get used to it . It's not as though there in the privacy of their own home or garden I myself are not bothered about people watching , I'm just doing my research , before I go myself " plus , I like Sean and Charlotte anyway 🇬🇧

So I watched this new video during my 45 minute commute home from work and OMG!!! I've been following y'all for some years now and this is (SO FAR!) the BEST vlog! I could not stop smiling on the train. That music set was amazing. Y'all getting loose and crazy was fantastic to watch. From someone that has never gone a cruise, I feel I just did!!! haha. I would love to go on the carnival Mardi Gras I just wish more cruise lines depart from Southampton since the uk has such good theme parks but cruising is also another of my passions and there aren’t many good ships with lots of thrilling things to do great stuff Shawn

This Cruise Liner is absolutely stunning. I have always wanted to go on a cruise like this, just never had the money to do it because they are expensive. Some cruise liners are so big that they have cinemas & casinos & also full size shopping malls that are very similar to that of the inside of the Bullring Shopping Centre in Birmingham City Centre, England. I absolutely love that view of the sea from the side & at the back of the ship.

Thanks for sharing - I've been on Carnival Splendor and Legend but Mardi Gras def one of their newer ships! On Cruises sometimes you just need to either use stairs or go into a lift that opens up even if you have to ride it up then down or vice versa or you could be waiting for ages - so glad you having an awesome time.

Thanks for posting these videos of the Mardi Gras. I sail with my Dad, and we were on this ship in January 2023, and we didn’t like it. After a while, I wanted to try it again, and tried convincing my Dad to go on again. He never wanted to try the ship again, until we watched your videos on your trip. Now, we are looking to book the Mardi Gras the beginning of next year. Thanks for sharing.

This was fantastic - one of the most entertaining vlogs I've seen. I haven't been on a cruise myself, but there was a time in the 2000s when I used to take the big ferries down to Brittany. Sitting there with a drink, sailing past the lighthouses... there's something magical about going onboard a big ship.

I know this sounds strange, but I'm so excited for you, feels like I'm onboard with you! Been on a few cruises, but not for many years, always had a great time. I did find being in an interior room I felt the ship a little more, also the further down you go in the ship, the more movement you might feel. They used to have these magnetic bracelets that would help with seasickness/motion sickness that they would give you if you had trouble, don't know if Carnival does it or not. Look forward to seeing more! Ahoy

Fantastic vlog guys just loved watching this with your adventures on board a cruise. Shawn your dance moves were “out of this world” lol. Charlotte you should buy an ice cream van when you get back home that ice cream you served looked fabulous, so much I want one🍦. Fabulous entertainment on board and the choice of bars, cafes, restaurants, theatres etc us second tho none. Great sail away party too. I’m so wanting to do a cruise like this.
