The Paradise is a great ship, I have been on her multiple times over the years, It’s easy to get around on, and is perfect for the short cruises, And the Port of Tampa is a great Port to sail out of, it’s a nice and scenic cruise out of Tampa Bay, and later on you get to “Squeeze” under the Skyway Bridge. I’m very happy that she survived the Fantasy Ship purge that her sister Ships fell to, 😢

We will be on this ship for 6 days in June. Really looking forward to it. Port of Tamps is so much less stressful to deal with than the monstrosities at Cape Canaveral or Miami. We like sailing out of there because my parents live locally in nearby Clearwater, Florida and can combine a visit with a cruise. Thanks for taking the time to put this together

You’ll have a great time for sure! Go with an open mind & just go with the flow! It’s a smaller ship so it’s super easy to get around & explore … but there’s still so much to do! Tampa port is a breeze & a lot less busy that most others … Have a blast!

@@DivulgeInfinity66 It was great! I just got back home today and I miss the boat already. It was constant fun/things to do. Never a dull moment. The staff was friendly and worked very hard and everyone on there was cool. I am addicted now so I’ll be back soon lol.

You do realise that most of the lounges on carnival boulevard are named after ships? The Rex casino is named after the Italian lines SS REX which was once the fastest ship in the world, the United States bar is named after the United States lines SS UNITED STATES which is still the fastest ocean liner 70 years later, the Queen Mary bar was named after Cunards RMS QUEEN MARY which was once the largest and fastest ships in the world ( it is currently a hotel ), and finally, the Rotterdam bar was named after holland americas SS ROTTERDAM which is now a hotel and was once an Oceanliner/cruise ship.

The Elation & Paradise are the last 2 ships to survive the pandemic purge. Older ships, with few balconies, were cleverly designed to make passengers feel like they were never in a crowd. Each of the 8 ships were identical, but with very different interiors and themes. This class defined cruising.

@@travelflirts3825 Never traveled on the Paradise, but was on the Sensation 2 times and Elation once. This class of ships at the time were building blocks for future cruising. They were so profitable, they built 8!

What kind of shows do they have please? In Royal we saw Grease Broadway, iceskating and comedian shows. Is this like that? Thank you.

The paradise has 2 main shows … Epic Rock (classic rock songs with fabulous dance/acrobatic & visuals!) .. & I believe also 80s pop to the max … not forgetting the piano bar & other live music/bands that perform in the atrium & United States(Casino bar) .. hopefully you’ll find something you’ll enjoy!

First time cruiser here in July what food Is free and how many times can you go get something?

The food on the paradise is mainly free, with only a couple of $$ options.. Free options include the daily buffet (breakfast, lunch, dinner) … many tasty food types including a deli & pizza station … & of course unlimited soft serve ice cream & frozen yogurt! Then for dinner is the main dining room .. either anytime dining or set time .. eat/try as many starters, main courses, or desserts as you like/want .. on the pool deck you’ll find blue iguana (Mexican) & Guys Burgers .. (opening hours vary) … on sea days the main dining room does sea day brunch … hope this helps! So much to eat! Something for everyone! Try new things & enjoy!! Hope this helps! Have a fabulous cruise!
