Are you kidding??!!!! The surf and turf that is literally a tiny piece of lobster and a tiny piece of steak that Lisa had was pretty awful. That is a children’s meal !!!! I know things are getting smaller and smaller these days, but it’s pretty ridiculous and sad. Bill’s steak on the other hand is a little larger than the normal size.

I like cruises but I ate too much and did not hit the gym enough. Too many vices on cruises but they are fun. I went on a Carnival Cruise with 7 friends from college and it was too crammed with people. I did an Alaskan Cruise that was great, though.

The last time I was on the Carnival Radiance in mid-November 2022, I caught Covid-19 on the last full day of a 4-Day cruise. This was after the mask mandate was lifted. My symptoms were so mild that I had no idea it was covid until I took the test. I wasn't surprised that I got it because there were many passengers sick on the ship! This was during cold & flu season, and I guess you could add Covid season too.

@@billandlisa I believe I caught the Omicron strain which is usually milder. Fortunately, I had my 5th Covid vaccine one month prior to my cruise so I was protected. Covid is here to stay so you just have to get used to it and be prepared! I still won't wear a mask on my next cruise. I've accepted that I could catch it on the ship but I will take precautions such as staying away from sick people and washing my hands often.

We’ve only been on Royal once, so we’re still rookies on knowing their features. I don't know everything I ate at mdr had no seasoning. I'm not picky but thought all the food at mdr was the minimum to not starve. The deli was un edible. Everything else was good. Cheapest vacation I have ever been on so can't really complain

From our experience, the MDR can be a hit or miss. Lisa likes the tuna and chicken salads from the deli. Of course, can’t go wrong with Guy’s burgers, pizza, and Blue Iguana’s breakfast burritos.

Hi Bill and Lisa, I’m considering doing a food & tequila walking tour excursion in Ensenada on my upcoming cruise, do you think it’s safe to do it? I keep hearing about crime in Mexico. Kidnappings and such.

From what we saw, staying along the main tourist area, we never felt in danger. A food & tequila tour sounds fun, there are plenty of places to eat and drink. That all said, keep aware of your surroundings, that goes for anywhere. 👍🏼

We went on a 4-day Baja last October. That Radiance ship stinks!!! Everywhere we went, there was sewage stench everywhere. It was sooo freaking annoying. Love the Panorama, though!!

Steakhouse Upcharge was $48 per person. Buffets and main dining room is included in the price of the cruise. All Carnival ships are pretty similar give or take depending on the size of the ship. The Radiance is more medium in size, smaller than the Panorama. Shows are similar too.
