Thank you for your comment! I’ve been Vegetarian since age 9 and was prescribed this as of 3 days ago. I’m shocked at how much better I feel! I’m floored and hooked! So happy to read you’re doing so well! Carnivore goes against everything I believed my entire life. Crazy what going with something that is opposite can be so beneficial.

We had renters in our avocado farm on Maui. Both had been raised in very restrictive vegan cults in communes. Life long vegans. The wife's doctor told her she was so debilitated that if she continued with vegan, she would die. She said the first day she ate meat was the first day she had ever really felt good. She is not carnivore, and still is thin unfit, but she is alive and local meat and fish are everyday foods, and whole local eggs and raw goat milk. She is VERY low grains, except some rice, no sugar. Still fruit, but she is an "Organically grown" credential certifier for the food industry.

Was at a friends house last night with a group and none of them could stop eating. Constant snacking and gorging. Then they look at me and ask how i can resist eating all this stuff and when i tell them once you get used to eating carnivore you just don't care about constantly eating junk and they still look at me like I'm the crazy one. I feel freed from a food prison. People think eating carnivore doesn't have enough variety and i say I'm glad I don't have to eat constantly and I don't have to care about all of this variety.

By going Carnivore, with some slight cheating and getting back on it, I lowered my A1C from 14 to 8.4 in three months. I've been listening to my PCP, Endocrinologist and licensed Dieticians for 25 years and no results. I lost 25 years of my life to idiots. Great job folks who recognize low / no carb lifestyles.

On another chat forum, a heavy lady asked for suggestions to lose 50 pounds. I mentioned eating carb free, no seed oils and to eat in a 6 hour window, not eating any other time. A 30 year trained nutritionist told her to eat frequently in smaller amounts because that is best for menopausal women and that my way was ridiculous. I explained that her training was outdated and she needs to do the latest research on proper nutrition.

I went on Keto 5 yrs ago because I was fat and sick and tired. I just wanted to lose weight without starving like every other diet on earth, I'd tried. What happened first was shockingly I quit snoring after 3 days which meant restorative sleep. Then one by one I was able to take myself off all meds because the Dr wouldn't let go of her addiction to my addictions. I just kept my nose headed forward. Trusting the plan. I didn't fuss and 2nd guess. I just knew I was feeling better than ever with lots of energy. I didn't weigh myself, my food, journal, measure.. I just quit stressing about it. Do or die! One day a couple months later, I went into my closet to try on some cute fat clothes I was hoping to wear at least once... they ALL HUNG on me! I lost 80 pounds! My body repaired itself and let the weight go! I went back to the " practicer" for one last complete physical. Completely cured! Pre diabetes, pre esophageal cancer, sleep Apnea, bp, Gerd, depression, arthritis and back pain from lugging around the equivalent of 8- 10 lb bags of potatos! I fired my Dr, and the insurance company I was paying $769 per month out of pocket for NOTHING ! That was 5 years ago when I was 62. I'll be 67 yrs old in June and I feel 40! I have not been sick. Healed a ripped open hand in record time, no e.r. no meds. Signed up for SS and opted out of their Medicare ( because they don't care). I've saved over $28,000 back to my pockets. Thank you Dr Berry and Neisha all those years ago. I was along on " date night" on one of your first livestreams. What grabbed my attention was Dr Berrys story about what there us to look forward to with diabetes and the nursing home. ( pre covid and dying alone). I think we need story time of all the diseases we could get diagnosed with and the scenario from there until the nursing home and hospice.... and GO.. GOD BLESS US ALL ON OUR GREAT AWAKENING journey And Happy Resurrection Day tomorrow ! Stay away from that pagan Easter bunny and candy.

I really needed this today. Bella, thanks for compiling this. I've been one month Carnivore and am not losing weight and just had to have bloodwork done for insurance purposes. The results came back and I "failed". If you look at me, I look healthy but the blood work says I'm obese and about to die bc my cholesterol is so high. They are requiring "coaching" to "help" me. I've been on a health journey for 15 years! Doing every type of diet and finally ending up nearly plant-based, organic, locally sourced food, raw milk and kept gaining weight. It was March 1 of this year when I went carnivore out of desperation. I know it takes time to heal but today, when I saw my bloodwork results, I was so discouraged and for a moment began to doubt what I was doing. I specifically got on YT to find anything to help me understand what was happening and I found this video right away. Within the first 2 minutes I felt so much relief. My bloodwork may not look good, I may not be losing weight yet, but I know I suffer from loads of inflammation (I've known that for years) and I have to remember my body is healing , and it takes time. I really needed this specific video , today. Thank you❤

Do not question a thing for two years. Keep at it. Patience is key. I am over 5 yrs in, 65 yrs old, no drugs; carnivore has been the best decision of my life. A few months in to carnivore this diet has changed my whole life. I have had ulcerous colitis for +20 years getting worse and worse. Last year I ate strict paleo diet and it helped 50%, really good but I still couldn’t have a normal life - a week without fever, beeing able to leave the house when I wanted and so on. After a flare in december I decided to try carnivore and I kid you not - in two weeks my hysterical bowels calmed down. Went from 10-20 bm a day to one! No pain, no blood, no fevers, crp normal for the first time in 20 years. I’m crying of happiness! Thank you @SteakandButterGal for all the inspiration I got from you and the other youtube carnivores! My start to fat loss began with Dr Jason Fung’s lectures and eating zero carbs with lots of Fats and Fatty red meats. Along with other meats with like chicken and fish. I just don’t eat a lot of the latter as I have a hard time feeling satisfied eating these. Dr Fung really gets into the fasting and have truly found his thoughts very worthwhile. He should be included in all these chats and not just his ideas borrowed with out talking about his contribution. Remember none of these ideas are new but have been known for thousands of years.

Here are the key actionable advice: 1. Eat meat and animal fat, which are the foods humans evolved to eat. Avoid inflammatory foods like carbohydrates. 2. Eat more fat during times of stress, as fat is needed to make cortisol and recover from the stress response. 3. Listen to hunger cues and eat until satiated. Most carnivores naturally eat 2 meals per day. 4. Aim for 60-80% of calories from fat. Cycle fat intake if needed - eat leaner for a few days then increase fat again. 5. Take body measurements in addition to weighing yourself. You may be losing inches even if weight isn't changing due to gaining muscle and bone density. 6. Give your body time to adapt and heal, at least 3-6 months. Weight loss may stall as the body heals. 7. Manage other lifestyle factors like sleep, stress, circadian rhythms in addition to diet. 8. If you have cravings, you may just be hungry - eat meat until satiated. Cravings should diminish after 2-3 weeks. 9. Combine anecdotal evidence, personal experience, and research to inform your approach while waiting for more studies on carnivore specifically. 10. Struggles are part of the journey. Focus on what you can control and celebrate non-scale victories along the way.

We love this whole gang. Husband & I had to rewind that & share w/our adult daughter😂. But in all seriousness, we all have a right to be that upset what with these Ridiculous studies as well as the absence of Important studies that Should already have been done! Every one of these people on this video are responsible for the Amazing health of my family which consists of 4 adults & a 2 & 1/2 yr-old who’s developmental skills are AMAZING us!!! He is now reading small words & a few bigger!l We can’t take any credit as we’ve rarely heard of this even being possible. We do play, sing, read & play games & play children education shows on KZfaq for him & it turns out he has retained so much & now is starting to read. I’ve known many toddlers throughout my life & never have I seen this! He has such an interest in learning & enjoys it. We all are convinced it’s because he has been breast fed & carnivore for most of his life. We have to be mindful at the park when mothers ask his age because we get funny looks as what 2 1/2 yr. old looks the size of a 3 1/2-yr.-old, can count backwards & forwards from 10, sing ABC’s , knows their shapes & colors & communicates in sentences? If we are at the park for even 30 minutes, they notice his abilities & curiously ask his age… Honestly, sometimes we hesitate telling the truth😂 After the MANY POSITIVE EXPERIENCES WE’VE HAD W/CARNIVORE, we want all children to be given the PHD & adults too of course🥩💪 Luv Y’all💕

I would like to say that i have followed Dr. Berry for over two years now. My journey is not done yet. But Dr. Berry has really made a change for himself. His face used to be red, and (sorry) he had post nasal drip, and he looked pudgy. What a difference a couple of years make for him. He's definitely a poster child for the carnivore lifestyle! For all of you others, coaches, and Dr's alike, i didn't know about the journeys you have been on, but you all show us this is the way to be. Thanks to all who have embraced being able to bring it to us folk who now know we have a chance to heal and live!

Be careful with rendered fat. That is all liquid fat, cut it out. If you cook a steak in butter, make sure none of the melted butter gets onto the plate when you eat. If you fry ground beef, scoop out the beef after cooking and leave the rendered fat in the pan. This was my biggest issue in the beginning, but when I stopped the rendered fat, my issues went away. You can have cold butter, etc, but don't melt it onto your food.

I might have solved my diarrhea issues this week...I believe I was overdoing the salt. It is so delicious on meat!! But I was also having a ton of it in electrolytes and even in my regular water. I kept craving it. But now that I am healing, within 5 pounds of goal weight and feeling fantastic, my only struggle was diarrhea. I cut salt to about 1/3 of what I was eating (I wasn't measuring, so no idea how much...just guessing about 1/3 now) and diarrhea is gone so far. 3 days so far. Coincidence? I don't know...

America seems so far ahead with carnivore belief/theory. In the UK I have not met a carnivore personally. My friends think I should see a doctor, they worry about me and they fear my demise. At the pharmacy, last week, I went to buy senokot to ease my digestion. The assistant asked how much fruit and veg I eat; I told her none. She had a fit and indicated I could not use senokot to replace fruit and veg. I got some from the supermarket instead. It is odd to go against the cultural message for healthy eating. I am grateful to Dr Berry for saying ‘grow up’ if you think you have a weight stall in less than three months from starting carnivore, I intend to do just that. I would love to hear if anyone else in the UK is doing carnivore.

I’m in my sixth week of Carnivore and do not think I’ve experienced weight loss (I don’t own a scale, but I know how my clothes fit). But, as Dr. Berry said, my body is reconstituting and I’ve become more muscular. I can feel it in my biceps: my t-shirt sleeves are looser, but my “guns” are getting more defined and harder (and I’m a chick). 😄 I’m a woodworker and carver who spends the majority of my time outdoors, and I exercise regularly; I’ve never been flabby. But this muscle gain is different. I think any batwing I have is dissolving. 👍🏼 I’ve been suffering for months from plantar fasciitis in my left foot, so I will be patient if my body is, in fact, healing. I will trade physiological healing for weight loss right now. Limping, pain, curtailed mobility are so destructive to my mental state.

I feel a better way to explain to people how this diet can help their joints, especially their knees & back is when you eat all the protein & build muscle then your muscle carries you instead of your joints! I started Carnivore in the middle of Jan, it's been a rollercoaster because I didn't lose for almost a month ( thankfully there were so many who said that was possible & it would happen, then it did but then the last couple of weeks I have been struggling with sticking to Just meat ( I won't go back to SAD but I wanted to try some keto stuff, but I am trying to convince myself that is not the answer either... I don't see myself being a carnivore my entire life but I DO see myself being a Ketovore for my entire life .. Now if I can just drop at least 1/2 my weight I would be willing the rest to take it's time :)

I am a carb addict or even sugar. A little back story. I was raised to believe it was good for preteens to eat a lot. But the time i was 12-13 years old, I was 211bls. I might have been 14. Now i am turning 24. I was never told that I was over weight. At the end of 2019 i was down to 197lbs or so. In 2020 my sister and I decided that we wanted to do something about our weight. We started going to the gym. We went for about 5 months. Over that one year we also did intermittent fasting. We did that all year long. Over these last few years I went all the way down to 163lbs but now these last few months I have been gaining and I believe it is because i have been going back and forth with carnivor and carbs. can't seem to stay on carnivor for the long term. The best I have done is for a week or so. Losing the weight is hard now. I have been listening and learning a lot, but I can't seem to keep myself on track. Looking for help. I love listing to steak and butter gal because she talkes so clear. Lol thank you.

I began this new way of life 4 days ago when I woke up at 3AM Saturday morning and turned on KZfaq and saw Dr. Ken Berry speaking on this topic and have been hooked ever since. I threw out all of my condiments and any food with sugar. I am more of a sweets person than savory so I already knew this was going to be a struggle for me but I NEED HEALING!! My one vice is coffee that I have tried to quit for decades and the headaches are too much to bear so I continue to drink it. I like that it fills me up too and I can fast breakfast that way.

If you are taking omeprezol it is lowering your stomach acid, which needs to be increased to properly digest foods and emulsify fats. I would suggest to research how to wean off and stop that and then increase stomach acid. Many people use apple cider vinegar or supplement with HCI initially. Dr. Berg has some good videos, but Im sure lots available in the carnivore community. Do you know if you have a hiatal hernia? That can also be a contributing factor. Hope you can find some relief. Not drinking water 30 min prior and up to 2 hrs after meals, and walking after meals did help me.
