Thirty-seven years later, I still miss The Carol Burnett Show. Sorry to say nothing on tv today comes close comparing to it.

Like Mary Tyler Moore, Burnett was also smart about knowing when to bring down the curtain. Both followed the oldest rule in show business: always leave them wanting more. Too many successful shows don't know when to quit, and stick around till they're running on fumes, and damaging their own legacy. Both Moore and Burnett saw to it, by simply knowing when to leave, that their respective career capstones are forever treasured by their fans.

What a wonderful lady. And Tim Conway and Harvey Korman, comic gold. Today's comics are so hackneyed and trite compared.

Carol Burnett...your family of hilarious actors inspired me and kept me going as I grew up. I continue waiting for another brilliant improvisationist to break another on the 4th wall. THIS is how brilliant you all were. You laughed, HELD it, then came back into character with the BEST lines. So perfect. I STILL crack up to this day and try to share with my younger friends about what REAL talent is.

This was real comedy, the likes of which we'll not see again. -----------Wolfsky9

I didn't know both myself and Carol thought or think that Tim is the funniest person in the world.
