Original Air Date: October 19, 1970 Another play gone bad. Before they were Funt and Mundane they were Leslie and Linda Amherst. Here is one of their early sketches.

Yes, I see this "I wish I could live in the more moral time" comments regularly. I don't mean to be a spoilsport, but the Vietnam war was going on during this taping, people were openly bigoted towards Asian, Blacks, gays, etc, President Nixon was corrupting the government, and more. Bottom line is, people in 1970 thought the world sucked and longed for a more moral time, just like people today do.

Thanks for the upload. I'm from Germany and the Carol Burnett Show unfortunately was never aired there. But some german producers have stolen some sketches and the same sketeches were aired in Germany with german actors. And at that time 70th/80th nobody imagined that this sketches were stolen from this US. show. Interesting facts.
@elizabethturner12464 жыл бұрын
Wow interesting that it wasn't ever aired where you live
@patricks.70904 жыл бұрын
@@elizabethturner1246 Why ? Do you think that the show was aired all over the world ? We had our own cult shows in Germany at that time.
