Luv Carol soo much and being fortunate enough to meet her and Loretta Swit in the 70's ~ they signed my autograph book and Carol looked at me and said "what a pretty little girl" and kissed me on my left cheek ~ that I will cherish forever❣🕊💋

I was a studio backup singer for almost 60 years and worked on a lot of musical variety shows in the 60s. Carol’s show was always one of my great joys to work on. What you saw with her was exactly what she was like, just the kindest, most caring person you’d ever want to know. The show was like a big family. I miss those years.

WoW, You worked with Carol Burnett and Tim Conway, and , Vicki Lawrence, cant think of tall guys name, tho i know his name, and Eunice's Sister too- Oh yes, Ms. Betty White. Forgive my brain freeze on names at the moment. My Goodness. I grew up watching these wonderful comedy shows - And what a Blessing, So glad I did, Disappointed in what tv offers our children these days. Our kids today have NOTHING decent to watch these days, its ALL CRAP !, SO their alternative, is glued to Social Media, No wonder such problems in our World. I was Blessed with two of the Most Beautiful People in the World EveR, - ☆My Mom and Dad. - Miss You - Taken Far Too Soon. Hope to see you again in Heaven, When My time here is done.☆😊❤❤💫

After awhile the crackups were a key part of the show. And Carol was smart and gracious enough to let Tim have the spotlight. Same as Jackie Gleason and the Honeymooners. Imagine someone today having that kind of gracious spirit.

The absolute best sketch was when she played Harvey Korman's secretary (basically his right arm in the office) and he's going off to get married. It very quickly hits you, just from the pain in her eyes and the tone in her voice, that she's watching the man who she's been in love with for so many years go off to get married to someone else. After he leaves, she starts singing "Send in the Clowns", one of my all time favorite songs and she knocks it out of the park! She did more with just those expressive eyes and a few lines of dialogue and that song than most actresses could do with a fifty page script. That segment is my absolute favorite and the two times that it aired on MeTV, I missed it because I fell asleep. I was so p*ssed!
