I am so happy I grew up at the time television was at its best, with Carol being the ultimate entertainer. Iconic show, with iconic people. I don't think there will ever be an ensemble which were so perfectly matched, with humour that was the pinnacle of its genre.

He is so talented. To have done the costumes at the time for Carol & Cher. Amazing 😮. I loved watching him on QVC when he sold his clothing line in the early 90's. A nice guy too. Great memories ❤😊.

They may look different, sound different but you Know the person inside is still the same. Watching Carol all the time when she was like 50 years younger I can imagine her handling the interviews just like the way she did many years back. Humble, fun, wit and modest. It is hard for her though but hey, the soul never grows old. ✋🏻😀

The special was a let down. Half those people had no connection to Carol Burnett. Katy Perry? Marisa Tomei? Billy Porter? WTF?

Everyone has a connection to Carol. She inspired men and women alike, and performers who are top dollar all watched her as kids. She inspired those kids, and I can't even imagine the honor it would be to meet someone who inspired a career. They may have never been on the show, but they do have the connection. Carol is the Queen of comedy, and they are there to pay homage.

You have to remember, a lot of the people she worked with have since passed away. She's 90. They have to choose people who are younger than her who still feel her influence today. They can't exactly call people back from the dead.
