I love how the episode was portrayed to play out real time in the course of the hour Just freaking Awesome.

Big shoutout to Alexandra Breckenridge for killing it as Jessie in this episode. The fans always praise how much Carol really owned it and Jessie killed it as well I mean we already know that Carol is a badass but with Jessie we were seeing a fresh face come into her own for the first time To this day Jessie’s first kill remains a cool kill scene by any TWD character It makes for a very powerful scene too if you really understand the context behind it. The reason why Jessie went so hysterical is that she was envisioning this female Wolf as Pete in the moment The whole scene mirrored the kind of ordeals Jessie would Face at the hands of Pete through all the years of abuse she went through All that anger emotion had builded up but this time she would fight back in order to protect her children. ( I also liked how she stabbed the Wolf one more time in the head to prevent reanimation )

the way Carol said to that first lady that got killed „smoking will kill you“ and seconds after she gets clapped while smoking outside is one of my favorite moments 😂 but yeah she reaaally cleaned house that episode holy shit. Proves once again how badass she is 👀 and the fact everything Rick told them would happen came true, first the walkers, then the „we need to control who lives here“- thing with Pete being the example and now that there will be other groups finding that place. Dianna really gets everything served on a silver plate rn. She never doubting anything Rick says ever again

Idk if you guys have played it already or if you play games but if you do y’all should totally play Telltale’s The Walking Dead, it’s a game set in TWD’s comic universe and you get to make choices that change the story, it’s old but good

Remember back in Season 1 when Jenner said that the time it takes to reanimate is different for everyone ( 3 Minutes was the fastest time recorded at that point ) That would explain why the truck driver Wolf turned pretty quickly. I also agree that Morgan was being naive believing this thing with the Wolves is over This was definitely one of those times where letting them go wasn’t the right thing to do ( like Gareth and the Terminus people )

Half of me clicks on these cause you guys are entertaining and I love TWD. The other half clicks because of the nonsensical, old-married-couple arguments that end up being just as entertaining as the show. 😂Never change.

Two things can be true Morgan was sticking to his principles and he was an idiot for it.

Abusive parents are complicated and it's easy for an outside person to say "you should want to kill them, you should hate them I don't understand" when no you don't. Because if they are awful, they're still your parent and it's hard to break out of that unconditional love you have.

The way they play with time is so dope in the first half of the season. In episode one, it's the black and white flashbacks. In episode 2, it's the cooking timer and the truck horn, letting us know this entire episode only takes place within an hour's time AND it let's us know where everyone is at due to the truck's horn.

Carol became one of my favorites after she killed lizzie. The show did a great job of showing subtle ways her character changed and developed from that point to here. Her character grows even more later thats all ill leave it at.
