What’s so hilarious about this episode is that he didn’t even try to hide his laughing, he just let it out!! The elephant one kills me too! It does not get old!

Tim Conway was, hands down, the funniest man on Earth. He never disappointed. If you need to laugh, just come here. (And who doesn't these days?) PS I love how they had no problem breaking the fourth wall. Seeing them crack up makes it even funnier.

As a regular viewer, I remember someone complained to CBS & Carol Burnett that Conway's character poked fun at the elderly. Inagine complaints sent to the network home of sitcoms that poked fun at POW camps (Hogan's Heroes), Appalachia poor (The Beverly Hillbillies) & the Korean War (M*A*S*H)? Gimme a break. Conway and Korman were funny. I mean "laughin' so hard, I gotta pee" funny. 🤣

It was always delightful when Carol got that this-too-shall-pass look on her face, when Tim began improvising and took whatever the sketch originally was off into the blue blue sky. (The deathless elephant skit is a priceless example of this.) Working with a free-form performer like Tim must have been both wonderful and frightening -- you literally never knew what was going to happen next.

I remember this episode vividly. They Crack me up. Makes me laugh so much my eyes tear up. I just loved watching the Carol Burnett show. Always funny and the cast are funny and so talented. I love it when they can't do a skit without laughing. Just love Carol Burnett and all her cast and guest stars. Well done.

I wish there were shows on like this here in 2024 but unfortunately everyone has lost their sense of humor & get their feelings hurt & God forbid raunchy humor....don’t even go there because you’ll offend someone…It’s sad really…
