Thank you for sharing this... and remember growing up in the 70s and LOVING TAPESTRY... still know every song! Had no idea she wrote/co-wrote all these other timeless classics~ Found it interesting that she wrote so many songs for black artists... sort of like she had a good vibe within her!

Goffin and King were to Lucy and Ricky Ricardo, as Weil and Mann were to Fred and Ethel Mertz! Sometimes, they got along very well and some- times, they bickered and fought to see which one would be the best songwriting duo of 1650 Broadway! And, by some miracle, Goffin and King went "all the way"! I remember going to see that show with Mom, Dad and the Palermos, back in 2019, shortly before the Covid-19 pandemic! 😊👍😊👍😊👍😊👍😊👍

Lea Michelle plays Lea Michelle. It was really interesting watching Glee, realizing I knew her from “Spring Awakening” and it was kind of a head tilt moment. This is the same person, except she’s clothed. Then Groff comes on and it’s like, “yeah, you’re not an 1800s German teenager who is actually very American and sings contemporary rock music.”
