Any decent tackle shop will sell them mate, I usually get mine from eBay.

If your fishing on the rivers or canals yer I would say you need a rod licence but if you a fishing on a private club or fishery I would say no you don't need one as its owned by by someone else not the government i have also been told you don't need a rod licence to fish my local park lake
