CARP FISHING diary - July 2023 vlog

This film is not the same one shown on the Avid Carp channel recently. It's my own video diary of the trip to Germany's Mary & Joe Pool when I caught the Lake's big common known as Black Spot. It shows my day-to-day life on the bank during what was a proper 'beat down' from the weather. It was brutally hot for the two week trip, but my persistence paid off when I caught some lovely fish from the very tough venue. Top of the list was the mighty Black Spot at 76lb (34.5kg), a fish believed to be more than 40-years-old.

Sitting here in Italy with work,I don’t get much fishing in that’s why I love your vlogs and some absolute fish of a life time, drive through Germany a lot they have so much water, every time I go past a lake I wonder what is in it,keep the vlogs coming you smashed it Simon well done.🎣🎣

That was a no nonsense video a joy to watch thank you. my PB is a 78 common From France never really sunk in until I got home to what I had caught still remember it to this day All the best Simon more tight lines to come

Simon, don’t know if you’re aware but medical advice is not to handle ticks . My sister in law has Lymes Disease and apparently it stays with you forever. Just saying….stay safe, health is No. 1 priority.

it only stays with you if not treated. I picked it up from a tick at Rainbow and the initial symptoms aren't nice but easily treated with a full course of antibiotics.

Gr8 vid as always m8 keepem coming.u really shouldn't drink out of plastic bottles in that heat mate.when they get warm/hot they produce chemicals that ain't good for u m8.just a bit of advice
