This is the wafter rig I use over particle because it’s softer than an iqd rig which I fish with boilies

Is this rig good for bottom baits ? Does it need bag or tape masking the hook on the cast to avoid tangles? Is my main concern .

Do you not feel the need to put some shrink tube over the eye of hook?

If you use a coated hooklink all the way through and a curve shank you it will turn very aggressively without the need of a kicker or shrink tube 🤔
