I'm just glad I learnt real watercraft and how to fish without being plugged into the matrix before all ready made tackle companies, baits companies, drones, bait boats & internet existed and in all the winter series no one ever worked out they were having a tough winter even when it's so obvious.

okay, so where does it lead to if drones are an acceptable use of technology..... which tackle company will bring out the first branded one, which one will then add a bait dropping facility.. do we all want to be sitting on lakes where the sky is full of drones and the surface is full of remote boats? Is it skilful to fly a drone, spot a fish, and chuck a rod at it?

Not by any means trying to be a prick ect cracking vid as always, but since orchid is only down the road from raf benson and on the flight line. Did you have to get clearance to use the drone??? Iv seen KZfaq vids of other named carp companies using them at linear and again that’s directly on the flight path of raf brize Norton it’s just something iv always wondered about 🤷🏻‍♂️.

Simon I’m with you on using tech When you think of cost of fishing 24/48 or more it expensive Put into that expense of rods reels alarms pod or bank sticks and luggage Cost of bait travel And if you blank It disheartens you massive Everyone wants to catch so using tech to Is fine by me So as I say Simon I’m with you on tech 👍

The use of drones is a step too far in my opinion. When you can pull into the car park, send a drone up, find the fish, find the spots. All without setting foot on the bank, is just not fishing for me. I'm against bait boats, but at least there's some skill involved.

The ego's on display here really does make me laugh. The inflated ego's is what made them use the drone. They'll moan and groan about the numbers of people on the bank and how carp fishing isn't like it used to be and then they add to the problem by using a drone to catch carp and post it online. What do you think the kids are going to do? Put your ego's aside for a min and do whats right ffs.

Don't understand the knockers wrt using technology. Drones must be a massive edge where allowed. Imagine the hours you can spend walking round the lake looking for fish when you can put one of those babies up and cover the whole lake in a fraction of the time. Especially on the big lakes in Europe.

TBH if you use drones to find fish you need to stop carping a drone are NOT part of carping in my eyes and never will be it just lazy ass fishing. You can say your getting lakes footage all u like but thats just BS to find fish.
