I used to get the aux taken from me for playing Toro y Moi as it just was a little too wavy and indie for most the people I would be around about 6-7 years ago. These days if you play this or most Toro songs it’s a crowd pleaser, which is just a testament to how much Chaz has shaped the musical landscape. Your comment makes me sad... My dad is still around but I wonder how long he will be every day. Once he is gone im screwed... He's been my lifeline growing up. I feel so ashamed to think of the shit I've put him through growing up that if he went tomorrow or next year or anytime, I will always feel im to blame for him not living longer. Even if I became a better man today for him it can't replace the parental stress I've could have prevented. Humans take so much for granted.

Saw this dude last night in Seattle. Forgot "Rose Quartz" was his jam. When they busted it out in the middle of the set, the place was on fire!!!!!!!!!!! His band plays this song live with so much hype and energy it can kill you. Toro Y Moi is one of the high-priests of live music today. You don't know how good this guy is until you see him jam out on instruments.
