I recently purchased this from Unique Auto Developments for my 2016 and it went well and worked immediately. Just be conscious that you need a USB extension before you start the install. This is in the instructions but I think should be listed on the site (or just included in the kit). I do wish they also had more detail on where to place the mic in the video or instructions. Mine is located under the center console latch, works well and is barely visible. It's definitely worth the money and 2 hours of time.

Very informative.. audio in the video is a bit annoying though lads - makes it hard for old boys like me to hear what your saying lol.. but good video anyway.

Why music soo loud and voice so low ?

After doing this, i would highly recommend using blue tape on the nearby surface when you pry the plastic off. I now have lots of little scratches all over the dash from the tools (same ones shown in video) Should have know better

I purchased and installed your Apple CarPlay on my 2015 Jaguar F-Type R. My vehicle does not have the internal rectangular nav. device as shown on your installation manual & KZfaq video, but it still works reasonably well. Not sure why I need the USB and external audio cable though, as they don't seem to do anything. The only way the audio syncs is to then go through the mode four times until it accesses my iPhone as done without your device. Also, the screen reverts back to the factories after about 15 minutes. Keeps working uninterrupted though, just need to press the NAV icon/button.

Do you need to leave the original satnav unit?
