He’s had his struggles, especially in the beginning, but this overturns everything. Couldn’t be more proud of our skipper, truly found his form this year and was immense. I don’t care what the Manc’s say, he’s our captain and I’m proud to have him. One of the happiest moments in my life seeing him lift the trophy.

A real story of triumph over adversity, and living in Gerrards shadow. When everyone was ragging on him I stood by him. Love seeing his Dad.

Henderson is one of our best midfielders, he’s a true leader and ever since Gerrard retired he’s stepped up to fill in his leadership role. Watching him lift a trophy is heartwarming

We knew what Jordan's potential was and now he has proven it .we wished him well when he left sunderland .you could tell when he played at sunderland youths then got in the first team he was a special kind.

We used to but criticism has really helped him develop as a player. Since Klopp listened to his pleas in terms of position on the pitch, Henderson has never gone the same. What an Amazing weekend we had.

I remember a time when Henderson was linked with a move as people thought he wasn’t going to cut it and they were saying Shelvey was the one who would succeed. I’ve never seen such a humble, hardworking, unselfish player as him. A true working class hero and will be remembered in his own right as a Liverpool great. #YNWA-HENDO

I cannot deny that Henderson's injury in the past affected his decision making sometimes, also he was often played out of position. But he still did his best. And yeah we all know England got their ass kicked by Belgium without Henderson, K.D.Bruyne bullied the whole England midfield in WC 2018 third place play-off.

Must be difficult for Hendo and his family - the 2012 FA Cup final, a world class Cech save away from that, to have played so well in 13/14 and come so close, getting suspended at the end - losing the Europa League final, then the CL final against Madrid in Kiev, then losing out on the league at 97 points - he has faced so much brutal criticism unfairly, often from his own 'fans'. So happy for him, he must have been dreaming about this moment for so long now

It's hard now to imagine how even in the earlier stages of this season he was still being slated for his performances by even us, liverpool fans. Since he started to play a bit further forward he's been a revelation and through all the crap he has gone through ,on and off the pitch I am so pleased for him. He should stay captain. There are better players in the team than him but none more passionate. YNWA
