She has experienced loss, abuse, suicide attempts... And yet with Jesus, she has such a loving, strong heart. I have never met a woman like her. No matter the song, no one sings it like you do Carrie! Whenever I hear you sing of the Lord, it truly becomes a worship service. It’s easy to see and hear your love for Him, and I can just picture Him smiling with joy as He listens to you sing to Him, with the stunningly beautiful voice He blessed you with. This rendition was mechanically made by using pitch correction throughout the song. Sad when singers today rely on auto tune or pitch correction to sing. No doubt she can sing but this was manipulated.

And, it very well could have happened without her knowledge or consent after the recording was made. By the way, auto-tuning a great singer detracts from the performance, so you should be upset about that, not upset at people pointing out the verifiable fact that this was auto-tuned.

Me, too. Not just tearful, but full on crying. He left His Heaven (Philippians 2:6) to come here and be born as a helpless baby to 2 teenagers who'd been accused of having committed an illicit act, lived a difficult childhood, adolescence and youth and then died that horrific death that He knew was going to fall to Him - all that to reconcile us with God, to make us co-heirs. She absolutely amazes me. Idk how she does it but she never seems to break or crack or miss a note and each time I hear her sing I get chill bumps. Even though I love all her music and I listen to her every day, I think her Christmas and gospel music are my favorite. It brings me back to when I was a kid and listening to all the greats. It's not overdone and is so elegant fluid and powerful. If you're going to do Christmas this is how it should be done.

@@NancySlider It is perfection because it isn't her voice. The whole thing has been pitch corrected by a computer to an inch of its life. Correct that. Past an inch of its life. It is machine not a human being.

For the past 6+years I’ve been following a musician who’s on a mission to continue & revive interest in real music; she collaborates with a bunch of like minded singers… if you’re interested check out SinaDrums. This young lady is talented, hard-working, sweet & humble and guided by her musician Dad. Shall I presume Josh Groban’s version of O Holy Night is also perfect by way of auto-tune?!
