The manager of this incredible restaurant needs some sort of national honoring. The way he communicated and managed to deal with the only lady in this huge kitchen. 👏 Afcourse the concept of this restaurant is beyond our western idea of dining out. It must be an amazing night out to be in this lovely restaurant. 😊

I just came back to U.S. from my mother land Afghanistan which I visited it after 39 years. My wife and 3 adult children went with me and we had dinner in this lovely restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised that there were several female hostess who took us in the elevator and directed us to our table. Excellent food, service and ambiance, mA.

I had exactly the same reaction there.. first place I saw women working.. very nice to see 😍.. the staff were all so smart and educated.. a great example of a successful place

@@carriepatsalis I also saw women working in some of the shopping malls, at the airport, in some government buildings and as well as police force. Dar ul Malimeen, which is a public university is also open where Afghan women are pursuing their Bachelor’s degrees to become teachers. Moreover, I noticed several private universities for nursing and medical students as well as high school students were open and girls are attending these schools.

It's not surprising that 20 years of foreign intervention have made many young people naive and unable to see the broader objectives. However, I am hopeful that in a few years, we will have a more intelligent generation that thinks positively and works towards a brighter future, inshallah.

Thank you for your nice videos and good comments about our country and the people. Hopefully I will be able to go to Kabul soon after 10 years, I left my beautiful Kabul at 1991 and since then I was able to go back to visit my families only two times. I miss living there specially my College days with my Classmates. 😢 It would be fun to go around with you in different places of Kabul and talk about the life of people living in the time when I was living there. ✌🏼🙂

After watching this I lost the trust on main stream media. I mean seriously....!! Is this Afghanistan?. For the first few seconds I thought it is somewhere in Dubai. Weldone Carrie. You are doing a great work via tourism. This will change the perception of the masses in the travel industry. This country is quite unique and cuisine looks so amazing.
