Its been 5 months for me going smooth now i can see major improvement now .I don't feel any pain just sometime irritation bcus of braces rest all fine . first couple of weeks were really bad but now its like I got used to it I can eat almost everything (don't ever bite directly from front teeth) by crushing into small pieces of course . if you are going for braces go for it ..its all worth it

I am 22 currently and I've always been concious about my teeth. And my family did not have enough money to get this treatment done for me neither did I wanted to bother them. I work now, have a decent income and I am using portion of my salary for the braces treatment. You can do the same. It is never too late.

Yes in some cases when the wisdom teeth are impacted, they will need to be extracted by the dentist during or before braces

Because initially they do so for making your mouth comfortable with clips, then they will put up wire, at one go both the things are very hurtful.

@@harshitapatel1366 I got my braces yesterday. I went to multiple docs and some said to remove 2 teeth and then one doc said it would do without removing teeth. Guess what my family went for the last one. Although the doc that if found required to remove teeth he may remove those, but that would be after 5 to 6 months . I am in a dilemma right, did it go for the right procedure or not!! 😔

@@Ram_jagat extracting teeth for braces are so common now. Im surprised how yours said otherwise. I had consulted 4 doctors out of which one told for surgery and the rest extraction+braces. Im off of it now btw. And i still have an overbite which is supposed to be treated only w a surgery🤷🏻♀️

@@harshitapatel1366 the thing is I was fully ready for teeth removal, but it was my family concern. So they went with another option. But I feel that at least 2 teeth will need to be removed cause there is no space as my jaw is small. Like there is literally no space for teeth to settle down naturally. But I may be wrong. I really don't know. Let's hope in 2 to 3 months everything goes well..

@@meenu1157 😹, yesterday I got braces and it will be a 1.5y treatment. And slight changes are visible from around 6 to 7 months. I'm eagerly waiting for those days when I can smile freely and openly. It's very astonishing that such a small thing can have lifelong effects. One should definitely go for it if they have means to get these treatments.

@@SpecialGirl-RX6CP 18000rs, only for braces. It depends on your dental health, like if there's any cavity then you have to get it clean, tooth filling or tooth extraction plus x-ray is a must. In total it'll be around 22k for me. For the first time I'd have to pay around 5000 then around 1100 every month for a year. If you go to private hospital it'll be really expensive, it can even go around 40k to 70k. I'm in Mumbai so these charges may differ according to your location. Edit : It's even possible to get it around 7k to 15k, if you go to govt. hospital dedicated to dental treatment only.

in my country, which is braces is very popular among teenager. it costs about 500-1500 (converted to usd) for the original one. but if u want wearing braces just for style and you're willing to take all the risks, you dont need go to orthodontist just buy the fake one, it is cheaper only 10 usd
