I passed on this game when I first saw it. Yeah, it looked cool, but it seemed like the novelty would wear off quickly. You just sold me on it in 5 minutes. Great video.

The only bad thing is that when you are playing as this all mighty blood thristy beast, the game sometimes make you stop for dream secuences as a slow clumsy human

Got Carrion, beat the game, and got 100% achievements! It's a lot of fun playing as a shoggoth-like monster, but it could have used an in-game map.

Great vid as ever, picked carrion up on launch day- the premise was enough to pull me in alone haha- and found it fit right in with the rest of devolver’s stellar catalogue of games

I really loved this game however it's puzzle design is quite boring. They just missed many opportunities. There is always only one single way to solve a puzzle and you mostly don't even have to think about. Whenever you see a red waterpool, it is literally mandatory to drop your mass there in order to move forward. You don't even have to think about finding a solution as there is always onle one option aviable. Besides of this and some slammer flaws, it is a briliant idea and a good game.

Taking control of the humans really was the most fun and the most horror-like element of the game

Enjoyes the hell out of thus, although the lack of a map angered me at least for a short time. Also, playing on the switch, the controls were oftentimes a bit clunky, but maybe it's just the joycons. There was no room for finesse I would say, either no action or frantically trying to grab things (and oftentimes missing). Overall an awesome game, especially for the low price

Y'know, the way the monster moves in the game reminds me of that enemy from the game called RainWorld, but the enemy moves much slower in there, well nonetheless, this was a great video!

I freaking love games where you play as the villain and the gameplay actualy reflexes is instead of just being "well, gess you're on the other side now". Games like Carrion or Maneater that actually make you feel like a menace.

When I played this for the first time, I tried going pacifist.... it was surprisingly possible, up until I came across the people with shock shields. I'm sure some quick thinking and strafing will get me past them but it's tough.

Makes me miss those dinosaur games where you get to eat people, like Savage Quest or that one Jurassic Park game on PlayStation 1 that I played in Toys “R” Us

I just realised this. The movement is pretty similar to getting over it, you dont control the monster, ( well, in terms of movement anyway) your it's will. The monster gets a close as possible to your cursor/joystick/whatever

once i was playing this and my mom gave me a weird look after i said "ha ha ha im gonna chew on you now"

I just beat it now and yeah, it's super fun. The speed and power is awesome and you do really feel unstoppable and superior to the human enemies by utilising your array of abilities to moonwalk through areas. I do have one issue that I hope someone who played it could explain, wtf is up with those weird human flashback levels? Maybe I wasn't paying enough attention but I found it hard to follow, like was it a flashback or something? Aside from that, dope game with some neat puzzles that don't break the flow of the game but do provide a little bit of problem solving

Great video. I tried it based on this. One complaint. The PS controller way of aiming your tentacle with the right stick and grabbing with the right trigger felt very awkward to me.

Carrion and PROTOTYPE are my aesthetic and some of my favorite games, but their shared focus on "Eat/Imitate People" worries me.

I just wished there were more controller options. Specifically for eating. It feels clunky with a controller, but fine with a mouse. Here's an idea. On the switch and ps4, have a cursor controlled with the gyro. With the right stick either help move the cursor, or clicking it in to center it. Just right now with the current controller controls, it feels clunky

Where can I watch the gameplay of snowman of FNAF?

I know how you feel about horror games and I can relate. I rarely play horror games and I basically just watch other people play it because I don't want to spend money on games that I barely play. I played the demo of pre-master mobile FNAF 2 and I was creeped out and esited the game. I also have FNAF 6 on pc since its free and barely play it because I don't want to get spooked. I play games for fun and frustration, not for getting my pants shit.

I gave up after softlocking my save, but what I played was indeed fun.

Great stuff! Yo snoman you should check out phoenotopia awakening. It's honestly one of the most amazing and complete games I've played in years. It's only on switch right now but pc port is on the way.

2:08 Especially because the game loops you back to pretty much exactly the spot where you need to be and use your new found abilities, I would never consider this in any way a metroidvania. The game might just as well be linear, there is literally no thinking involved with progressing to the next part. I don't say that is bad, but for a metroidvania I *want* to have to recall the layout of the world. Here it is a blurry mess and after hours I had neither a clue how the parts I was funneld through connected to each other, nor a reason to make an attempt. It's weird, the level design is really impressive on a micro level but on a macro level it leaves no impression at all. This is not a coherent place like Zebes or Hollownest are in my mind. This is closer to an arcade game with strict legel progression. On the other hand, giving such a tight experience with an explorable overworld is actually kind of an impressive feat. As I say, it's weird.

I would love to get this game, but unfortunately it is not available on PlayStation :(

The big and perhaps the only problem i have with this game is the lack of map. It might've appealed to some people but I got lost so easily. The lack of direction was painful.

I was really excited to try this game when it dropped but i was actually pretty disappointed with it. Moving around feels really good but the “combat” is awkward and unwieldy and i spend about 60% of my time just searching for where to go next. If this game had any sort of map system i might have finished it but as it stands im just not into it

Hey Snoman, if u liked Carrion, look into a game for mobile called “Perfect Cell”. It is incredible. Warning, last time I played it, it was a mobile game, but worked awesomely with touch controls.

Oh man I'm already thinking of a sequel with better graphics and new mechanics like spawn mini dog like things to control to get in smaller areas and tournament the ppl more. Also new elements like cold that'll slow u down or even kill u like fire will and just more ideas that I'm sure got scrapped maybe a dlc or sequel would do
