I work as an apprentice in a swiss bank, and one day a customer came to transfer a million in cash to his bank account and it was just like two stacks of 1k bills (a dollar is about the same as a swiss franc) so it is quite convinient to have that bill.

My home country of Canada actually has a weird problem like this. We formerly had $1000 bills, which were retired in 2000 at the request of the RCMP because they were allegedly mostly used by organized crime. Around a million notes are still out there, mostly still used by organized crime. They’re still able to be deposited at banks, but doing so would likely instantly raise red flags, so effectively they just bounce around in the criminal underworld as payments back and forth rather than actually serving as currency that can really be spent.

There are $10,000 notes that are legal tender, but only 335 were made. $1000s are much more common and still legally acceptable at any store.

Inflation has made them preferable for lottery casinos, bingo halls, nice restaurants (food inflation is kicking into gear), grocery shopping, auto repair businesses, and a wide variety of other places. In the US, $100 bills are so widely available, they are probably more common than the $5 bills. In the UK, if you have a £100 note, it's like you have won the lottery as they are extremely rare, I have never seen a £100 note in my life

Gee, while your at it, why not go to sea shells of beads for money or use cows as a currency? The best solution is to go to an all digital currency that is tracked and then can be traced for any purchase of goods or exchange for services. Also, the government could collect taxes immediately and directly to benefit us all. Currency would become universal and increase trade in the world.
