the value is where you pocket is.. a R30k car can take you from A to B, and it may need a few things to fix, but anything you buy second hand will have to be fixed. Do not be in debt in order to pay for a car, so look for low petrol, anything that has bushes to be fixed, and if the car starts and moves you good. We poor people guys.. be smart..

Bmw depreciates due to its expensive parts (as a BMW owner) vibration dampner costs 12k. That 1 series has a N13 engine (Peugeot engine) has a lifespan of 150 000km. Here is where the cylinder head gives issues and costs like 50k to fix

I think I saw this 2011 BMW 320i e90 with all the After Market parts on the road before. The car looks fast and the driver tried taking me on in my '07 BMW 330d e90 lol. He could not keep up with a 3lt Diesel eish 😁

Buyer beware!! Most probably some of the corrective work required on the cars in this price bracket: - Engine flush - oil change - new spark plugs - gearbox flush/drain - coolant system drain/flush - bake fluid flush - brake rotor replacement - brake pad replacement - replace all rubber coolant pipes - clean throttle plate - carbon removal for GDI motors - wheel alignment - proper engine / chassis clean - probably timing chain / timing belt as well as thermostat and tensioner replacement - Fuel filter replacement - inspect and replace worn engine / transmission bushes - inspect ad replace worn exhaust hanger bushes - inspect and replace rear and front axle/etc. bushes - inspect and replace worn shock absorbers - test and clean injectors other?
