Thank you! Yes I thought it was necessary to give damaged King an upgrade. Primarily because of the broken spoiler since that's one of the main selling points. I used the lenticular one since I didn't want to ruin my original. And yep the tireless McQueen now uses a Wet McQueen mouth plate and regular tires to stand in for a worried McQueen. Thank you! Yea, back then I did little remakes like the King's Crash, Rod's Death and other bad original stories so that's what really taught me stop motion. Without that experimenting 6 years ago I may not be here today. And yes the RV's I thought were necessary to fill in gaps to make the infield look bigger, they're very simple and not what I would use as a diecast normally but they make for nice background pieces in a video like this. Thank you so much! Yes it is one of my favorite scenes of the movie as well, throughout the whole production of the movie the main idea was always that McQueen would sacrifice his win in the end. I always wanted to do a full last race on a big track and I can't believe I did it!

@@As2000_the_Stop_Motioner I was gonna do that, in fact the only reason I made the last race first was to prepare me for the first race since 3 cars is easier to control than 36 but with how much work this took, I had to cancel it since if I ever did make it, I'd love to make all the racers from scratch to be accurate models, have full scale haulers, and the track be about full scale. This will happen one day when I do the full movie but until then, there's more important things to focus on like building a Radiator Springs from scratch which will be used for original content and eventually the full movie

Jimmie Johnson definitely resembles McQueen since they are both 7 time championships and providing that Cars takes place in 2005, they are both 2006 champions. The comparison is quite incredible, it's as if Cars predicted Johnson's success.

Sorry I don't even have this track setup anymore, but if I can get the NASCAR diecasts I was thinking of making a commercial for them, what Mattel should have done and going to a real NASCAR track to do so but it's a bit unlikely.
