I think the wagon really needs a chain link steering wheel, instead of the bar. I'd also run 13 inch ATV rims on the back and put slicks on them, it would give it awesome rake.

Ever since i started watching this i've been eyeballing my old red wagon as well as this really roached out handwagon (huge tub pretty much), I'm thinking if i can get my buddy to weld up a frame i want to make the handwagon look like a old rat rod t-bucket but since it's a lot bigger then a average gokart i'll probably run a 670cc in it fabricate some headlights and tail lights as well as directionals so i can actually run it at a meet or just make it into a trike t-bucket

what would make the ratrod wagon better? a conley supercharged stinger609. too bad the price would kill that idea... but the ultimate ratrod look would definitely be there!

I would totally buy one. i have been in love since episode one of the rat rod build. I actually want to build one more then anything. Maybe at least release plans at some point? :) I am sure I can follow the videos though...

Once you guys get the Rat Rod Wagon finished you ought to send it off to Count's Kustoms for some custom paint ( the Radio Flyer logo incorporated into it would be a must ), custom seat w/butt padding, engine & gears chromed, and maybe even have Horny Mike throw some horns on it. Aw man, it'd need a chain link steering wheel too. lol

Old Bmx bike hand brakes would probably fit great on that handle and look clean.

That's a band brake, a drum brake is inverted (shoes on the inside)

I've got a Streaker Fun Race Kart which I believe is from the 1970's and it's got drum brakes. It is a one wheel peel and if u guys can do a tutorial on how to do a homemade live axle it would be very much appreciated.

John, I have a question,The clutch you had on the camera kart from tractor supply, when it was on the engine shaft did you space it with any thing or put it on the shaft with the bolt on the end,Because I have a clutch coming and need some info on it and (and how you installed it) detailed please

hey guys i have a little idea here .. just after christmas you should start a project but bigger than any of the others ... basically a normal go kart but abit bigger propper seat ... briggs and stratton v twin ... a oil cooler a sound system and headlights taillights brake lights and led strips for underglow but nothing tacky ahahah !! would be cool to see especially the oil cooler would work great ....

you should mount that lawn mower throttle down on the floor of the rat rod and attach a lever it would kind of look like a e brake in a car and it would definitely fit the rat rod wagon just a thought

my mini bike fell over in the garage and oil got in the pipe Isaac would say "il be fine" and i started it and oil went all over my leg i got that predadar engine 212 cc really like that engine for $100 its worth like 260$

your axle will block every time you touch the brake until you come to a stop if you mount the band around the drum that way

Go on KZfaq search up "Ferrari vs go kart" it has a longer title but "it'll be fine" and I think it's ikes go kart it has the the same front bumper.. Sorry if I got his name wrong. Ray rod wagon looks good too

Why not get bike handle bars with front and back brake handles. One can be brakes the other the gas.

I put a jack shaft on my kart . I want a torque converter but don't have the cash . So can you tell me if it will give me more torque so I can climb hills

Breaks should normally be burned in I think so it could help to drive a little bit while holding the brake

find an old bike and take the brake lever from that, it'll work perfect. That's what I used with my gas powered bike.
