Renault Kadjar Video: In-Depth Review & Buying Advice
Renault is experiencing a bit of a resurgence in South Africa. Riding a wave of popularity created by the curvy Clio, they’re hoping to carry the momentum into the SUV market with this, the new Kadjar.
Based on the even more popular Nissan Qashqai, with two engines borrowed from that range, the Kadjar has landed in South Africa and is certainly grabbing attention with its flowing good looks.
We tested the top of the range 4x4 Dynamique diesel model for this video review, to decide if the newcomer has the substance to match the style.

Your reviews are amazing, I now find myself having to look for your reviews for each car I want to know about. I also finding myself going back back to previous reviews just to enjoy the great presentation. Do you have a review collection videos in shops maybe. I thought that'd be a great idea especially when someone needs some advise for purchasing a car.

Such a beautiful car! Went for test drive, very nice, was really keen to buy the 4x4 but... no automatic gearbox! What on earth are Renault thinking with no autobox yet (and never will on the diesel), sorry, this a dealbreaker! So I'm taking my money elsewhere (

Wow it is looking a decent SUV. This much of ground clearance will easily go though rough roads & water filled roads in rainy season.

Kadjar has 470 liters (boot-space), not 370. ; )

+Damian Wojakowski Hi Damian, in our market the Kadjar is fitted with a full size spare wheel which reduces the boot space.

Hi, the trunk looks exactly the same as in European version - the "fake" floor is at the same level as bumper and in this config it has 472 litres. When you remove the "fake" floor then you get additional space (it extends to 527 litres) - in case of a full size spare wheel there will be no space, but the space above the "fake" floor stays the same. Can you recheck the documentation and make sure that it has 370 litres above the "fake" floor? If yes then how is that possible? Is the version of Kadjar in our market smaller? Are the back seats moved back? I find no explanation for that.

intresting how this car is more expensive there, here its the other way around, qashqai is way more expensive then this car

guess what the Kadjar is more expensive than the Qashqai here in Greece .Qashqai approx 27000 euro whereas the Kadjar reaches 29000 euro!!! I took the Kadjar for a test drive ..nothing special...I'm keeping my Qashqai for now. ..By the way this was a great review.

For me in its class the Mazda CX-5 takes the win, much more value for money and good looking too
