The transmission makes lazy or awkward gear shifts at times, but that's pretty much the vehicle's only weakness. Overall, it's one of the most well-rounded and family-friendly offerings in the class.

I have owned every VW also a GTI and I have no complaints with my 2024 SE 4 motion Taos. I Like the 4 motion better than the front wheel drive because it has the GTI double clutch transmission. The room in it is great for a small SUV. You have to remember a Golf or Golf wagon is a regular sedan car. You match the taos with other small suv's and the taos will win.

I just acquired a 2024 VW Taos all wheel drive. I'm leasing it, and I feel very good about it. It meets my expectations. I like it 😊

I have 2024 taos se awd, does Anyone if you reverse and there is a car coming; can you have the car make a sound? Or when u r parking n when u get too close the car, can you enable a system to make a sound saying it is too close like tiguain se r line? Also my key fob for trunk open doesnt work....i pressed it and isk if it is supposed to open or unlock only

I looked at the Taos S. I know it's the bottom of the line, but for $30,000 it doesn't offer siriusXM radio. Nobody else does this.I'm not paying $40,000 for a small SUV.
