2024 Hyundai Kona SE | No Longer Barebones!

In this video we look at the all new 2024 Hyundai Kona SE FWD finished in Ultimate Red Metallic with the Black cloth interior. The 2024 Kona introduces several new features across the trim lineup and gives lower trims more features than before. The Kona SE is the least expensive version of the Kona coming in just over $25,000 including destination but has several features that were once not standard. If you want features such as tinted glass, power drivers seat, auto climate control, and more you will have to opt for the SEL trim. The larger size of the Kona helps with day to day usability and is actually one of the larger subcompacts currently in the class. Let me know what you think of the new Kona SE in the comments below!

As someone outside the US it is interesting to see a video on the SE. We don't get this trim level in my Region. Ours starts at something more like the SEL

Greetings from southern Ontario Canada I really enjoyed the video the preferred model is what has been reviewed with the most for the $ I still don't like back in Canada heated exterior mirrors and heated steering wheel and seats are standard doesn't matter what trim is picked

Thanks for the video! Have they updated or changed the 2.0l engine from previous years? I'd like to know if the 2.0l engine still burns oil as per previous years?

2.0 with CVT on SE and SEL. 1.6T with 8spd traditional transmission on NLine and Limited trims. IDK if the 2.0 was updated but the 1.6 has been reworked with more HP etc. I’ve not heard of a Kona 2.0 burning oil… hmm. 5yrs 60k mile or 10yr 100k warranty (power train) as long as you’re the original owner. Should be covered *if* that happens.

How many recalls has Hyundai and KIA had again? One recall was for over 630,000 vehicles. Becuase they can can catch fire. Then there is the 3 million vehicles that were recalled. And the list goes on and on.

did you see the toyota recall for the tundras blowing up 😂😂 i’d take this over a boring toyota any day, especially since they both catch fire 🔥🔥
