250F vs 125 Backyard Brawl

I take a bone stock YZ250F and put it up against a full mod YZ125. We start out at The Kelley Farm and then take the bikes to my backyard track. My buddies Ryan and Jaden also bring some 125’s and 250F’s along for the ride. Comment down below which bike you guys prefer, 125 or 250.

What I love about Carson is he is a world class rider who shreds top of the line 125s and 250f’s, but he also shreds bikes like the XR’s, Air Cooled CRF’s, TTR’s and old vintage bikes. It makes him relatable to the average joe who can’t afford these top of the line 125s and 250f bikes. Carson shreds everything and proves to so many people that it is the riders ability above all else. Keep doing what you do Carson!

Im such a fan of Carson, and BBR from back in the day. Just guys loving dirtbikes and having fun, it’s just awesome. Carson has fun on everything but looked good on blue not going to lie lol

Yep I remember when BBR was the only way to go with custom chassis etc., if you had a 4 stroke Honda back in the day and wanted to be competitive you went with BBR ✌️🇺🇸

I agree and I'm a 2 stroke man all the way I remember in 03 one at Canada heights uk up against the 250's didn't win but what a game changer very nostalgic bike , also the yzf 400 that I believe even went back to 98? Not 100% and will probably never see one again but amazing back then. Old motorcross wipes the floor with the new machines

Dude! That 2nd track looks so wild. Idk if it's because of the camera angles or what, but it looks so tight and sketchy the way it weaves through those trees. But then you still rip that 125 through there flat out! The way that looks floating those jumps is so sick. Crazy style points!

I had fun riding 125s. In 2002, a buddy asked me to ride his done up 2002 250F. Omg, I didn’t want to ride my 125 after that! I grew up riding two strokes. It was so easy riding the 250F, plus the suspension was so much better. I went out and bought a 250F.

Dude that bone stock yz250f sounds like a monster. We used to have to spend so much money to get them to run like that. Now you get it out of the box on a Yamaha.

@@natetwarog1938250 2 stroke will destroy a 250 4 stroke. The biggest issue is that most these comparisons on KZfaq (except this one) is full of guys that can’t ride 2 strokes properly. I have seen guys on 250 2 strokes destroy an entire pack of 450 riders.

we're working on that! We notice that in the first 24 hours that the rendering isn't as good; i think it automatically sets the quality lower as well so I believe you can up it to 720hp; thanks for the input we appreciate it!

That Yamaha 4 stroke sounds like a parallel twin he must have it pinned on the limiter or something. I can’t help but to be nostalgic, I’m 57 but damn them two smokers sure sound good rippin, Im really missing all the bikes I’ve had. I’m trying to get a dual sport but the wife isn’t digging the idea. I don’t blame her, traffic is just stupid anymore the way people drive. The only road riding I’ll be doing is crossing the blacktop to get to the other trails and the fishing hole ✌️🇺🇸

I wish they would bring in blackberry bushes into the supercross tracks. Maybe cover daytona in sticker bushes to make guys think twice about cutting the track and ad to the danger. For a lot of people they are a big part of the sport.

250f to put in a good easy lap time ( and sound like an elephant with diarea) but defo makes it easy , 125 for fun and sheer pleasurre of motocross trails or anything you just want to enjoy, amazing how many 4 stroke riders start quoting seconds or 2 quicker than 2 stroke but reality check we do it for fun and 2 strokes will always be tge fun in motocross i pity people who didnt grow up with them. Long live the smokers

Carson, what do you recommend? yz85 19/16 or yz125, height 176, I can ride both, but I need to choose something to ride with a friend through the forests and mountains, I don’t participate in competitions, the bike is mainly needed for fun

Hi Carson i was watching straight rhythm on rebull channel and it showed that you were racing a yz125 but you were defo on ktm sx125. Why is that? Is that just a fault of redbull or did something happened?

With all the technology in new 4 strokes you almost need a 150 2 stroke to be equivalent power wise especially sine the haven't made a any effort to improve 2 strokes in 20 years

Well, you need some 150s or TM144 compare to the 250Fs. Or compare 250 2-strokes to the 250Fs. A 125 just isn’t comparable. Fun vid anyway, just sayin 👍
