I honestly think BMW should make a pickup at the factory by taking an X5 and giving it a truck bed. This would compete with the VW Amarok and the Mercedes X 350d and if they took the M8's twin turbo V8 and put it in this pickup, the car would have plenty of torque to work with.

X3 or X5 as a base. They should make two versions: one with the B58 or B57 Diesel, and ofcourse the V8.

If you're looking for the definition of "Crime", you're looking at it! Why ruin the BMW? You want a pick-up truck? VW: Amarok / Toyota: Hilux / Mitsubishi: L200 I'm not saying the bodywork is bad, but this design is awful. It doesn't even come close to resembling a pick-up.... And don't see this as "Hate", it's just my appreciation.
